Too funny and no I don't have eyes everywhere.

I did see your video, though Gentry.

And I like your fangs, Ryan. Does that mean you like TYPE O NEGATIVE as well>? lol (Always liked P. Steele, well until I heard him all drunk and accidentally saw his nude pics that seem to be all over the internet) (still the guy's music is interesting)

(takes eyes out, wipes them off and returns them to skull)

Uncle Howlin, I see what you mean. Yeah it would rock to be able to show off some skill, I doubt it is going to be that guitar that makes me good though, it is going to be many more years of practice, lol.

So yeah, by the time I am able to afford that I will have become some kind of rich person - and by the time that happens then maybe I can show off some skills, lol.

Captain, yep, no eyes everywhere... Though you did just remove your eyes... Need a lens cleaner?

Peace, GuitarAnatomy.

Thanks Howlin and GA. I appreciate the comments.

Captain, come on and admit it. When you watched the video you wanted to get jiggy-wit-it, jump into the mosh pit and do some body slamm'n didn't you? If you dislike our stuff you should of heard the first band that played. They were to much even for me.

Hey GA., It's not the guitar. I have some really nice guitars but the one I use the most when playing the hard stuff is a Epiphone Les Paul that I picked up on Ebay for about $300. Another one I loved for metal and still own and play is a Schecter Black Hawk. I payed $250 new for it and think it is one of the best Metal guitars made in that price range. You can get some nice Blues tones out of it as well.

Howlin, I'm a die hard Strat man but I'll have to take a look at the GE Smith thicknecked Telacaster the next time I'm over at Guitar Center.

Strats rule!! Like I,d know, I do like mine. Ive got an Zoom H4 and like it a lot as well but not being an eltrowhiz kind guy it really confuses me sometimes. How would one go about marring it to a camera/recorder thingy?

You use the H4 recording as a music soundtrack to whatever video you put with it. In our case, we record audio and video seperate at our gigs, and then I chop them up for song videos back home.

XP comes with Microsoft Movie Maker for free, which will allow you to put video and audio on a timeline and match them up. It contains alot of free effects and transitions, or you could add your own video for transitions.

It's relatively easy to use and learn.

There are other freeware programs too, or you can buy Nero software for under 100 bucks, which does movies and DVD recording and all kinds of other things. Sony makes a movie program too, I think it's called "Vegas" if I'm remembering correctly, and there are others. Just depends on what you want to do.

Play with the free stuff first.

On MS Movie Maker, you get a timeline, and you can drag and drop clips of video and audio onto the timeline and shorten them as needed, or averlap them for a transition from one video clip to the next. You can add titles and ending text. It's actually a very comprehensive little program to be free.

Thanks for the heads up Craig. I do have the Microsoft Movie Maker. My H4 has a sterio mode as well as a four track recording capability and a whole bunch of effects I'll probably never figure out. :?
Thanks again, I got to get back on my Strat.
Latter. :D

Here's a Tele for you G.A.

Enjoy..

Gentry,
Mad skills dude.. Killer video. I like that you're musically versatile.
I still gotta have my Strats. A 1957 reissue, a 1994 Plus Deluxe.

And when I wanna get heavy, Squier Stagemaster. They're the most underrated guitars I've ever run across. Neck through alder body, Floyd Rose, Hum-Sing-Hum. $200. Drop some DiMarzios in it. Fat!! I have 2.

... A Telecaster played by... John 5... You are f*cking kidding me... John 5 is using a Telecaster to play the stuff he plays... That is like me playing a Hello Kitty Guitar to Metallica, lmao. Wow, awesome anyhow.

Thanks for the post, man.

I still want my Thinline, lol.

For metal I am aiming on that ESP M1000 still, I am going to go back to the store and try it out, by now I should be able to use it (I had to adjust to a similar neck first).

Peace, GuitarAnatomy.

Thanks Shredd6. I think I told you already but I'll say it again. Your song Burn is excellent. Very well done!

Haha.. Yea he's had a sig. Tele out for a while now.

ESP's are killer. You should always just get what you want, even if you have to wait a while. Why settle.

I know what you mean about adjusting to a neck. I bought a BC Rich baritone on ebay before being able to test one out first. Nobody in town had a baritone worth a sh*t. But that freakin' Bich has a 30" neck. Standard for a guitar is 25 1/2". It's as big as a Bass. And to top it off it has 14-72 gage strings. It's great for recording, but I can't play it live. The damn thing is bigger than I am!!

Mike,
One of these days I'll bust out my Strat and post some of my blues stuff up here for you guys. My style has been described as unique, but I'm not sure if that's good or bad. Haha. Maybe I'll let you guys decide later.

I agree, Shredd6. One should get what they want. I cannot wait to go for that ESP. I do not think I could handle playing a guitar that supersedes the average neck by 5 inches though, lol.

Peace, GuitarAnatomy.
