All of this horror talk and a movie trailer I just saw has inspired me to write a new piece. It is very dark sounding, I am working on it now. It is in standard tuning, but I am working it out anyhow (Much easier in deeper tunings to get a menacing tone, so this is actually a challenge).
Peace out, GuitarAnatomy.

Too many sane intelligent people have seen or heard them. A friend of mine who was an insurance salesman (who previously didn't believe in paranormal activity) was on a sales call in an old house. the people there warned him that sometimes the ghost abiding there would do something dramatic and don't be surprised. My friend thought they were joking, however they weren't. He was sitting at the kitchen table going over the quote when a small flower vase went flying off a window sill, flew across the room and smashed on the wall next to the kitchen table. Nobody was near the sill and other items on the sill were undisturbed. There was no wind outside. The people living there told him that stuff happens a few times a month. Needless to say he now believes. Another friend of mine who is extremely religious (baptist I think) was in church with his fiance and they both saw a ghost dressed like somebody from the Civil War walk across an aisle and through a wall. I think there's got to be something to all this. Apparently people visiting the Gettysburg area in Pennsylvania see ghosts all the time. Maybe someday we can figure out exactly what these apparitions are. Later...
I have always believed in ghosts. Be it my religion or just my scientific analysis of the situations at hand. I have seen many of documentaries or movies based on the matter, many I can easily say are false, while others I tend to question. Face it, not all of the phenomena that we hear about can be fake, not everyone is out to scam people.
I always wanted to have a Halloween party, like a big one, shows you how obsessed I am with horror stuff. Now if I do it I am playing guitar with my band (That I hope to have by then! Lol). But yeah, horror is horror.
So many strange activities that transpire all over the world, so many unexplained cases. I myself have been to weird areas that I can definitely say are haunted. The Breakers hotel is definitely haunted. I have never been in somewhere that felt so eerie and looked it at the same time. I have gone there at night, and you have to remember it is on the Island, thus it faces the beach. That beach at night time, with the darn rocks along it (So unsafe), and the strong winds, is absolutely terrifying. In fact, I think I have a picture I could show you guys.
Okay, 15 minutes later, I finish typing this and found a new photo. I think my old hard drive deleted my haunted photo of the hotel, but, I have this one of the island, I took it at Sunfest last year.

Creepy freaking island... That is a pretty photo though. At night it is eerie out there, very very quiet. Plus, there are so many police (Because of all of the heavily wealthy people) that you cannot move. We drove passed some shops and they followed us, lol. There is too much money out there.
Well, if I find it I will upload it.

Oh, there is definitely something to it. And its odd that you should mention Gettysburg, because I had a personal experience there that kept me from going back.
When I was taking the tour, they took us to some little house on the grounds, that had a bullet hole through the wall and I was told it killed a civilian woman - supposedly the only civilian casualty of that battle. Anyway when I went in the house, it was shot through with the smell of fresh baked bread...I asked the tour giude if they sold this delicious smelling bread on the premises, and he just looked at me like "Huh? There isn't any bakery even close to here." So anyway we go further on the tour and about midway I am overcome with the nauseating smell of rotting meat or something....rotting flesh? I dont know. All I do know is that I felt like puking and I was getting dizzy and I made a bee line out of that house.
I still have no idea what it was.
I would have flown out of their if I was in your shoes, Irminsul. I am not someone who jumps that easily at things, but the smell would have told me to get the heck out, lol.
But I will be truthal, something I do not do well with is spiders, at all. I see a spider, I b-line, even if it is on the highway, I will jump out the door, lmao. Only if it is big though, tiny ones I will just step on, but once they get big I am gone.
I cannot say I remember anything that happened to me like that. I have had deja-vu before, but cannot say I have ever seen anything that proved there were ghosts. I have been in areas that are creepy though, many cemeteries at night, no thanks, lol. But I am so into the occult it is nuts. I study a lot of things like that, it fascinates me immensely. I cannot wait to get into college and philosophize, but it is going to be a while before I can get into a land college (For now I will be going to internet school). I think if I did not want this doctor thing so badly I would do something else in the paranormal area, or another degree of science.
I guess my interest in this is what attracted me to darker sounding music. I can be very goth when it comes to music, especially the idea of painting the nails black when playing guitar (I am going to do this on stage someday, lol). I think the only thing that separate me from goths is that I do not have a dark mind like many of them do (Just the stereotypic ones). People cannot stand my wardrobe, I dress in a lot of dark clothing, especially black. Addicted to dark clothes. Same with the guitars, I like creepy looking guitars. Hey, I think you guys will get a kick out of this, I found this guitar in the ESP custom gallery, I wish I could buy it (Warning: those of you with weak stomachs, do not click!):

Very creepy looking guitar, huh? I love dark guitars like that. I have written a lot of dark songs, especially in Drop B, I would love to come out on stage with that and play them.
I think I should be a ghost hunter, I could get rid of them by just playing guitar around them -- yes it’s that bad that they would run (Or float away fast!), lmao.
Peace out, GuitarAnatomy.
