Funny thing I showed my drummer son a video a few years ago and he just ripped them.
Then over the summer he mentioned them to me... we sat and watched 4 or 5 vids... he likes em now.
Also my 15 yr old daughter loves them.
It's like any music... not for everyone.

Great voice, great writing, such style..
Don't mind losing cred with the alte kakers. The "band" really is this one guy since his drummer is a pick-up after the rest of the band gave up before their last album.
He has a great sense of melody, and mixes hip hop with r&b and rock very well. That album is the best produced music I've heard outside JZ in a while.
