The re-mastered early Black Sabbath albums sound much better than the original mixes.

haven't heard those. i was into Sabbath back when i was in HS. I think they slipped a little w each successive album. And after "Masters of Reality" (their 3rd album) i was pretty much done w 'em as they started to become a parody of themselves. There are a cpl of good tunes on Vol 4 but nothing that really compares to the early stuff IMO.
