Listened to the new stuff, specifically Blue. I still like that you're doing it, and the layered, phased guitars are working. Not so sure 'bout the keys yet; I'm not a big fan of synths, and like the understated organ on the original. Seems like the mix could bring that out more. But maybe you're going after something diff. (totally legit--there's no rule you need to sound just like the orig.), and besides, what do I know (nadda, from what I'm told). At the same time, it does fit and makes for a fatter sound.
