I can see atmostep maybe working, but lose the synth (keep the piano) and add a good guitar track. I've tried, but just can't bring myself to believe that the synth is a viable instrument--call it a personal quirk/failure, whatever--in the post-Rick Wakeman/Yes era (and even then, despite his virtuosity, it was a close call). When I hear it dominate a song, it takes me to an 80s-era disco, high on acid or MDMA. Which is what it takes to exist in that space, I think.

But at least he can play some drums.
