Get it done George. The new guitar off yours looks great in one of the photos - where sunburst color really shouts.

I couldn't possibly figure out why anyone would "complain" about you. Yea, you have had a few rants that were caused by more than one beer.

Who cares... You are an awesome musician. If someone wants to be that petty...

You know what I mean.

Thanks Glenny for the compliment! Regarding the Beer rants you are sounding a bit like JImmyD throwing that out to intimidate. It's not going to work bro! Good luck!

Meanwhile this is general chat and even the people that have exchanged harsh words with me have become friends.

JUST SAYING.

It is what it is to each of us Glenny you get to decide what it is for you...
But how does one fail to mention what one doesn't know?

Uhhhh... read it again it says
General Chat
All users can post to this forum on general music topics
.
This is a music page if you use all the words in the category title.
That line always seems to be omitted when calling this General Chat. But really I don't care what people talk about here...
And I post music on the USA site... by choice.

How does one "keep their name up there as a moderator"? Is there a contest or do they apply for it?

I could never be moderate, much less a moderator. On second thought, if I were, there would be the freedom to say what you want to say without fear. Like the founders of the USA, they believed that it was a good thing that we know what is honestly in a man's heart instead of forcing to be polite when they really aren't. Too bad it's not that way anymore.

But there is still more freedom in this discussion group than most.

Looks like you're having fun George. That's what matters when you play because everything else about gigging can be a struggle. Rise above!

I'm having an amazing time in Europe..you simply wouldn't believe what happened this weekend with the March of Life/Remembrance in Austria. I'm still putting the report together....lots of pics to go through....but we had 1,000 AUSTRIAN christians marching through the home town of Hitler (Linz) and "carrying" 5 Holocaust survivors from Mauthausen to Gusen I & II. For those who don't understand the history or why that is important, we just slapped every racist in the face with that one.

I was invited to play at some kind of service on Easter...at Auschitz. Hmmm...?

Then I will go to Hungary for the main event...March of Life (Germany), March of Remembrance (USA) & March of the Living (Israel) come together with 10,000 people walking through the streets of Budapest Hungary, where the fascist party (Jobbik) gained seats in the Parliament in national elections last Sunday. Oh yummy....danger!

Which means I'm only 3 weeks away from going home, to release the new CD I've been touring around Europe for the last month.

The music biz is complicated these days. I have technically released an album in Europe but not America, and don't want it on iTunes yet because then Spotify will stream free on demand for a couple of months before I have a chance to sell it to fans. I've been in a dialogue with some of the execs at Spotify about changing their model

I like people being able to hear my music...just not ALL of it free on demand. That kills online sales...so I've decided not to actually release it to iTunes until I've toured it in the USA for a some time and had a chance to sell it online at my website.

We'll see how that works. For now, keep calm and carry on. :-)

I posted a link to this song (culturalXchange.info) a few weeks ago, but I put it on a YouTube channel to show friends....and I consider you guys friends.

Sorry Jeff. You are one of the nicest people around. I guess I will have to take great care not to write anything that could offend you.

Jahva, you got the come and go blues. I can see you are all for telling anyone to stfu if it doesn't fit into your values. Thanks for the lecture. I will keep that in mind when the government you advocate censors this whole website.

Vinny... Not only are you funny... But very talented in making a point without having to waste any words. Thanks.

Ted, I hope your voice is never silenced. Your greatness goes way beyond your music.

Smile guys... Sometimes you forget this is the net. Just a minor reflection of what is going on... Just a minor song that fills out the set.

By the way I started a thread about LOIS LERNER and the abuse of the I.R.S. censoring certain groups that had dissenting opinions. I called for her to be fired. Now she may go to jail.

Thanks again Glen, the offense is that people dismiss my position because I drink beer 2 times a week. I don't understand why you someone I consider a friend would do that? Friends get mad at one another but that still doesn't mean they are not friends. No worries bro. I get over it pretty quick. I try not to hold on to bad feelings. I usually express my displeasure and that's the end of it.

Interesting comments RE Spotify. I wonder how many 'kids' today only stream from such sites and never buy music at all. Takes a lot of plays at $0.005/play to make any money from your songs on Spotify.

Glenn
I'm not telling you or anyone to stfu... Actually quite contrary to what I say or believe. How you interpret that from a differing opinion than yours... I don't know. I'll call it online general forum chat misinterpretation and move along. Life is too short to get into these spats.
I'll just continue to be me and hope everyone can be themselves w/o any concern of censoring here.
Besides I've got 3 new tunes nearly done... you can call me Nero! :P

As far as moderation is concerned . . . I was invited.
I did not solicit the position, I was requested to assist in 'spam' removal.
I agreed.

I'm pretty sure jimmy left due to some manner of chastisement.

that said..i DO appreciate a good spanking when administered properly from the right gal.

then again, there's also something to be said about having a fine looking fraulein put little toy soldiers on my nekkid body and listening while she shouts out orders to 'em in german.
