As in barely any traffic at all. It's heyday was some years ago.
If it happened to me, I'd say "well ok" but it didn't, not yet at least.
Bob say something caustic? Are you sure? I doubt it.
I think it's a whiner.
And for anything and everything that has been said, there's been a shitload of useful information here put up by the same people over and over again.
If you don't contribute to this forum except for "yeah I like this and lemme show my picture of that", you aren't really much of a contributor.
You are just another dingdong with nothing better to do.
Bob has been here for a LONG time and he's not a johnny come-lately to this thing either.
He doesn't ratchet jaw about politics. He never really rubbed anyone the wrong way (that I can see at least) and he plays out as much as humanly possible.
He was a pretty nice fellow as well.
In short he's got me beat, hands down. So I'll be sorry to see someone that had something real to say go out the door because bmix had indigestion that day.
Even worse, they didn't even identify what it is that upset them in the control room.
Are we supposed to live in fear about what we say and do?
SHIIITTT, I never was afraid from day one and if you don't show me what your beef is, I don't know and don't really care.

2.
a court or tribunal.
3.

"the Roman forum"
IMO it sounds like the first definition..
The minute it becomes the 2nd, "a court or tribunal", you whiners can stuff it where the sun don't shine.
If you don't have any idea what's been contributed here, go back and reread some of the materials that are all part of this forum.
And I know why they changed it so that when you quit, they don't remove your posts...it's because they would never be able to replace the little bit of wisdom and knowledge that took forever to accumulate written by people like Fisherman Bob and some others long gone now.
So feel free to go tell it on the mountain, unless you have nothing to say as usual.
For the record some of you make me sick, but I figure it's the same contingent that thinks the convex of what I think.
And I don't care so much if you beat on me, I can take it and dish that sh*t out too, you little fags. But Bob? He's been trying to be at least partly PC from the get go and any of you that can't see that are just fing blind.
Stick your head in the sand, soon you'll be writing all the stuff on the forum because all the regular contributors with information and experience will have left. Why would they stay?
It's one thing to say "do not write this and specify what it is and what problem they feel it's causing". It's completely another to send an anonymous message and not even itemize what is causing the "bur under the saddle".
But don't slam Bob, he's doing what he's supposed to do by being active and playing out. The fact he shared his wisdom isn't anything I would have guessed because I see the darkness in people, as in most of them are the equivalent of vomit. But not Bob, he was true blue and he'd help you a hell of a lot faster than I would.
But Bob is gone now, so who's going to take his place? I don't think anyone will. And who's next to leave and not come back?
Well that's going to be interesting to see...could be any of a cherished few, but we're getting to the bottom of the barrel.
I know I've learned a lot from my experiences here, but don't think you can piss on me and call it rain. I'll set you straight but quick and the only way you'd get straight faster is in person.
That was a great post Capt!!!!
Don't argue with a stupid person. They will pull you down to their level... And beat you with experience..."Samuel Langhorne Clemens"
