wahts interesting is the e-cigs (also known as "vaping").. I've tried them and they are surprisingly like smoking, without the harmful smoke-

I was just wondering .. instead of adding the nicotine to the 'juice' they could add THC.. basically the M-CIG. I look forward to some genius in CA, CO, or WA coming up with this, if they already haven't.

As far as bad vs worse- NP.. people drink, most people drink. The danger comes from over-consumption and the health problems that follow, or over-consumption and the stupidity that follows. Pot is great in that the simple low level (or high level) of paranoia stops people from doing stupid things, and considering they already have healthier ways of ingesting it (brownies, etc), it's really a no-brainer in comparison to any other drugs (and yes alcohol is a drug). People enjoy getting high.. what's so wrong with that?

My biggest pet peeve with the legalization campaign is that they focus entirely on the medical aspect and refuse to acknowledge that the majority of people just want to be able to get high, and that is the main reason most people drink... We, as a society, need to learn to deal with that and accept it instead of shoveling it under the rug.. until we do, none of the debate on drugs or alcohol is being honest.

Shitz very hard on the lungs . . .

I got nothing against it in and of itself.

However the Cartels and Gangs violent activities being financed via the sales, these animals should all be put to the sword.

The reason for the violence is just economics. At one time most of the cannabis consumed in the states was from Mexico. Now, most is produced domestically, leaving an ever-shrinking market for the cartels. Any time you have shrinking markets you will have ruthless competitors.

SO then, you're suggesting that legalizing weed (which almost eradicates illegal markets ) will spark more violence?

Read carefully you stupid redneck. The word legalize does not appear in my post. Alcohol prohibition did not work, and neither has the war on drugs. Stupid laws cause black markets, which cause violence. Go read a book for God's sake.

The reason for violence is sin.
Mine, theirs, yours, everyone's.
Economics has nothing to do with evil.
Just a poor excuse.

There was once a good "Tales From The Darkside" episode (or it may have been "Monsters", same producers).
A small town preacher had the dead body of the most evil man in the world laying near his bathtub, with a crude meter attached to it on one side and a hose going from the other side into the tub.
He called it a "Sin-Sop."
He would charge a fee for people to touch it, which would suck all sin away from the sinner's body and purify them.
But, the Sin-Sop would soak up the sin like a sponge which had to be frequently drained into the tub.
It was depicted as a black oil-like goo.

When Christians (or theists in general) talk about sin, I always pictured it like that substance.

Maybe that is one early reason why I always figured religion was just baloney.

in the all time classic Christian Zombie book, (yeah, I know), the protagonists that survived the end times/ rise of the dead, found themselves in heaven, with a greasy, shadowy substance oozing out of their bodies into the ground.

It was their sin nature. I'd sure like to part with mine.

I love it. Every post starts with...you stupid or asshole or some other personal attack. Jimmy... My tax dollars supported you when your liberal attitude and vote led to an economy that left you behind. Even with all your education. UHH, UHH, UHH! I have a responsibility to help my neighbor,(I don't need MY government to steal to accomplish that) I KNOW WHAT YOU WERE GOING TO SAY...

We the People don't enjoy having our tax dollars spent on any one that will come back just to COMPLAIN.

Duh!!! What am I talking about? Everything about you Jimmy... 14 phds and you still won't figure it out...

Then I take it that you are against stricter gun laws attempting to take guns from legal law abiding citizens who would turn to the black market if pressure were applied? Good for you. On this you are correct.
