Typical liberal comment when they are exposed for the untruths being circulated. When you don't have an answer, downplay the reality. Divert the focus, and steer the conversation in a manner of personal attack.
Very good Jimmy. You could still use a few lessons from Mark... He is really good at this. :)

Good words Scott.
Now should it be NY governor,,, OR just an outright dark horse run for president.
I already know I could take the local state senators job.
I'm working on successor to give my biz too. That's the first step.

Having tried my hand at running for office, I can say from experience that it ain't easy.

lol The biggest reason people fail at politics is all that ill gotten money that is so easy to come by...all you do is hold out your hand and it magically appears.

Someone gives you 1$ and 6 months later, it's a blackmail scheme for whatever agenda is currently on the cusp.

=

I'd rather be working for Glenny. At least you know he won't screw you when it comes time to get paid and an honest day's work allows a regular man to sleep like a log.

Conversely politicians sleep in the biggest, softest, most expensive beds but don't sleep well at all... (hmmmm)

It's important that we try not to tar everyone with the same brush, or inadvertently martyr those we SEEM to agree with.

Of course you could buy a gun! Sometimes I see references to guns from Godly folk spreading the word as it were. I find that more disturbing.

Scotty If I read that right... My biggest downfall is that I share whatever can with some one that helps me with some of the most difficult work I deal with. I don't line my pockets on the backs of others. That's not the American way.
Even monday... I had oil that had to be delivered. Money don't mean squat if you get hurt.
I couldn't let my regular driver go out and deliver... Thank God I didn't.
As capable as he is... He just doesn't have the same skills needed to deliver under extreme conditions. At one point,I came across an ambulance stuck. Also a P.D. car. Also half the fire department. Also a heavy wrecker that was called in to pull them all out.
None of you have a clue as to the shiit I overcome on a daily basis.
BUT I SURE WOULDN'T WANT TO BE WORKING FOR SOME ONE ELSE.

Because what Scotty said is the truth... No one cares about you more than yourself. If you want to give that up to "UNIONS" or "BIG GOVERNMENT"...

Good luck.

Chippy it is always good to hear from you.
Your off handed method of addressing the truth has to be directly addressed.
Guns are not meant for hunting only. Yes that sounds plausible.
Guns are not meant for home protection only. yes that sounds plausible.
Know what? Scares me a bit that so many NEW gun owners don't have a clue... It is not about protecting against a home invader. NOT NICE, but still not worth a killing. Yesterday my driver walked in with 8 grand in cash. I know I'm a target. Even so... It is only money. Not worth taking a human life.
However...
Guns are meant for one thing... Here in America...
To protect against a capricious and arbitrary government. The sort of government that king George sent against the colonies. The same sort of governments that have killed millions in the name of control through out history.
All the liberals here downplay the importance of that... HOWEVER THEY FULLY UNDERSTAND THE TRUTH OF THAT!
Thanks Chippy. Have a nice day. Glen. :)

Glenny I am not bashing you.. nooooo.

If I was closer, I'd pump you for a job. At least I know you wouldn't screw me. (plenty of employers pounding employees in NJ so bad that it's not even funny)

It's downright depressing and you can forget trying to make a decent wage here, too many gd people to compete with.

If I didn't have my shitty job p/t, I'd be basically up the creek with no paddle and the waterfalls are within earshot. (of course we're in the middle of the fast moving water as well.) lol

That is just plain horrible Capt. I see it all over the place. People getting creamed by fuel cost, food, insurance, property taxes. What the hell is going on here? Especially when it is happening to talented people like you.
Just plain suucks!

So you honestly think that your guns are going to save you from the government tanks and drones?

My statement is true- if there aren't any guns, there will be no gun violence. Citing places like Mexico and Wash DC who both cannot control their borders and enforce the laws is a strawman argument. Other places like Japan, Australia, NZ, England, etc.. all have effective gun laws and their enforcement is adequate, proving my point. I've cited links to statistics worldwide in countless other threads and have proven this point time and time again.

Reading most of the "pro gun" arguments really does actually argue the case for increased gun control- you guys a off your collective rockers if you think the government cares one iota about you having a gun to defend yourself against them. You would never even see the drone, or hear the missile that would end your laughable rebellion.

The criminal element, upon proper enforcement of gun laws, would slowly be disarmed over time, and in the end, guns would be exactly like in england. But the end result isn't really what you care about, is it?

I would pay good money to see Glenny and Slacker in their backyards with their peashooters trying to shoot down a drone, and the subsequent explosions as their houses were leveled.

I enjoy your fantasies.

This is truly the revealing of reprobate minds. Minds that preach against the acts of war and violence but reveal the violence hidden with in themselves through their mindless speech. Their minds having no control over what their mouthes profess. Mouthes revealing what is hidden in their hearts without their consciousness even knowing it.
