There are plenty of jobs, just no qualified candidates because corporate America does not train anyone anymore, and because college kids get useless degrees. I get called everyday by recruiters who are desperate to fill jobs that go wanting. This is why we allow so many work visas.

Exactly! The Irony is that the workers on Visas aren't quite there on the rythym of US standards... (I deal with a lot of folks, offshore ) They are put in charge of units/departments...They don't necessarily know how to parlay knowledge back to US workers.

I recently implemented a training standards program, where I work. Its geared on developing and delivering curriculum that surrounds Apps dev, systems and DB designing, etc, for a group-paced environment. It necessarily forces the instructors to take on the role of mentors, beyond the classroom. It took me about 4 years to convince my bosses that they need this... This year, They finally agreed. (After they found a no-cost method to implement it)

You know, I hear you guys but 'round here it's simply not this way.

I'd go live on the moon if it was full time with benefits that were worth a crap.

"f you can ask a kid to go to Iraq and fight for our freedom and die we can ask those among us to pay a lil more in taxes"

What do you mean 'you' ask a kid? Not me. Ain't nobody out there fighting for my freedom and I told my stepson that joinging the military was the absolute dumbest thing he could do. He was shocked because I'm a military type from way back.

I told him - look who your commander in chief is: George Bush. That pathetic freak now pales into insignificance next to Obozo but the end results are the same: dead soldiers, less freedom.

In my life freedom has gone from a lot to phuck all. And I will no longer play that 'troops are keeping us free' game because quite simply, they are not.

They are killing folks the govt pigs want killed - while just across the street the same people they are killing in one place are our 'friends' in another. Hasn't anyone noticed what has been happing in Algeria, Libya, Egypt and now Syria? We're sure winning in the middle east. Hell - it's worth a son or two, right?

But they are getting a lot our best kids bumped off. That's a plus for the govt swine.

2 problems left if sequestration goes through.

Destroy the wealthy. They still have too much power.

Remove hundreds of millions of personal firearms, eliminate the second amendment.

I'll let you figure out the details of why this is so important.

Then and only then, can the United States of America be DESTROYED!

Did you see the woman who turned in her grandfather's Sturmgewehr?

I was like, "someone bitch slap that dumb ass woman before her grandfather has to return from the dead to do it himself.."

I have seen some great pictures of US troops who grabbed those German shooters (STG43 / MP44)

Factoid: The SturmGehwar concept failed to impress Hitler but it impressed the hell out of the army. So they renamed it MP44 (Machine Pistol 44) because Adolf was cool with submachine guns...
