What are you using for your drums VSTi? I use EZ Drummer, and you can set it to put each drum (+ overheads and room) on separate tracks for mixing down. Lets me balance out the cymbals to the rest of the kit.

Mike, I am using Discreet Drums. It is a c.d. of digitized drums that came with my Boss BR1180 version 2. I bought this thing back in 2003 because Boss billed it as the "easiest recording studio available" now keep in mind when I first got this thing I couldn't even turn a computer on. I became pretty good recording with it until my old band Cruise Control broke up. It set in my Music room for about 6 years unused. I just started using it again last year and here I go through the learning curve again YEA!
