I like this tune.

I do not like the lyrics and overall content.
It was a detractor where it could have been something more imaginative.

Musically I thought it was awesome.

Better subject matter determines overall relevance when the music is acceptable or better.

That was awesome 8)
Too bad he's actually just a piano player with an 8 string guitar.

clean tone (no where to hide) and copping the bass line at the same time!

Planetguy, that's pretty cool, if you like elevator music. I'm using the Agile Interceptor Pro 8 string in the studio for one of the projects I'm working on.

well, mike i rectum you must be riding in some different elevators than the ones i frequent.

that previous stuff 8 string stuff you posted....sorry bro, but all that compression, over processed Generic Ass Tone 101, running melodic minor scale fragments up and down the neck at 8000 BPM w zero melodic content, no space....thanks, i'll take what you refer to as "elevator music" over that childish masturbation ANY day.

i can only imagine what those guys would sound like playing clean. yikes .

"finest tastes in music" sure is one subjective booger, eh?

so, ya got some tracks you care to share of your stuff on 8 string? btw what tuning are you using?

JCP, yeah it takes some getting used to but I'm starting to get comfortable with them.

Planetguy, now why did I expect that type of response? I pretty much use a standard tuning F B E A D G B E depending. Sometimes I drop down a half step. I put up a couple of rough samples on my page that I'm sure you won't like but knock yourself out.

I lasted 15 seconds watching that. Lots of musical masturbation, very little music, sorry. One of those bands that only other musicians who play that style can appreciate I'm sure.

Watching what? The progressive metal band, or the sloppy jazz band?

Oh come on Jimmy! All lead guitarists do a little musical masturbation including yourself. The difference is you're thinking of Bea Arthur doing yours while he's thinking more along the lines of Pamela Anderson. Different strokes for different folks I guess. (pun intended)
