There have always been polls taken and blacks almost always vote demoncrat. The left caters to blacks (in promises only) and has had the black vote tied up for years if not generations. So why would blacks go to a repubic convention? I would imagine that they wouldn't want their peers to know that they went even if the did support that platform.

Why is it when Bob talks about a heavy Caucasian presence, you guys immediately jump to he's wondering why there's no black people there, but yet you leave out every other ethnic group here in America. Latinos? Asians?

I don't see how this has to do with republicans... Its not like there was a white guy with a beret, , holding a bat, and shouting on and on about killing infants at the polls...

A political party worth a damn (and we don't currently have one) should state their beliefs and if people like it good, if not fine...

But to cater to ethinic groups, unions, and the whole litnany of alms seekers is to me, sickening.

there is no rule of law if the people who run for office have to adjust their principals to satisfy various groups. Big tent? Who needs it. Being right matters.

LOL Chaeya! I thought maybe the Latinos weren't showing up cause of what was said by Speaker of the house , who said he had hoped they would not show up ... Same thing said about the Blacks...

I kinda think the Middle easterners, by default, would not show up (this just isn't their decade...possibly not the even their century...)

The Asians don't need to show up...since they are one or two cheques away from owning the White House anyway....

The Europeans actually don't 'want' to show up.

American Indians... They are simply honoring the party by not showing up (It looks bad for the casino owners...like it would suggest favoritism for house odds)

Of course, its quite possible and more realistic, that all the aforementioned groups simply lean democrat... and thus... none of them would attend a republican convention.

. A major political party HAS to be inclusive. The Republican partgy has the perception of being run by and catering to rich busnessmen, many of whom are Caucasian. Here we have a rich businessman, Romney, who along with his reactionary VP choice Ryan, are talking about repealing Obamacare. And replacing it with what? The perception and reaiity for many minorities is one and the same. Again, I say the Republicans need to do a lot of soul searching. How can they word their platform in such a way that it CLEARLY BENEFITS all Americans. The Republicans have a big problem. Very big, and I'm not sure they can overcome the problem by November.

There are easily as much or more wealthy supporting obastard in the demoncratic party. In fact, a good many assholes who into politics poor on the demoncrat side are now multimillionaires themselves. Same with the other side.

You want obastard care. Great. Wait untill the iron fist of government healthcare swings into action. ALL who are "too old or infirm" will not have healthcare because a government system has to only cover those with the ability to add to the financial side of society. That means your son will not get the care that he has now.... and neither will I.

You who are attracted to the something for nothing promises of this system will have a rude awakening one of these days. No? Then look at any government healthcare system in the world. It is impossible to treat the chronically ill and get a return on the investment, so that is how they will look at it. With obastard stealing 716 billion from Medicare right out of the box those with their eyes open can see what is in store for them.
