As far as chemistry sure it's important.

You need people that can relate to each other that have
similar goals and musical tastes.

Band members also need to respect each other. If you don't
respect each other it's going no place fast.

I guess this is why I almost prefer to play solo on a full time basis. Its too hard to organize people, gear, transportation etc for little gigs. Easier to rock up with a guitar and.. rock out !

right on brother. but no sub for the real deal. it's nice to jam but for those of us who just wanna take control and get it done... it's the best thing in the world to have a computer of some sort or another!
