That really reminded me of Paul McCartney, very much so.
Nice.

Nice song. I probably would have added some lead guitar accents, but that's me.

Dog,
I like it. I've been wanting to hear it since you described it. Finally I can listen to Bandmix again.... for a time. Now my daughter wants her wireless card back... so I have to order one for myself. But until then I'm going to listen to some really good Bandmix music.

Paper, my first thought to write about was to ask you about George Harrison, but a couple posts beat me to it.
I hear a little Harrison in your vocals. (Or maybe I'm just weird)
Now... I think... you should take that first ten seconds and use it as a refrain.
So... at 58 seconds, use that same bare section you used for the first ten seconds, then into "And I'm flying high I see below, the heads of the people on the ground..."
Ya dig?
Nice job.

Thanks GT! Your suggestion aint bad...
I already use that First 10 (half of it) as a refrain after the section you described. However, its not implausible to redo the emphasis in that break & transition... (A matter twist on the wrist for that one... I'll give it a revisit).
Lots of folks are hearing the Harrison influence... My primary influence was actually Traveling Wilburys... I must confess I have been indulgent, simply because I hear it and wanted to play with it...
About a year ago, the musical principle behind that style / signature/ strategy all fell into place for me... I got flooded with ideas and an awakening, so to speak.
For the record I am not "trying" to sound like Harrison or anybody else specifically... But I do believe I have captured a principle, that makes consistent, tacit, musical sense. Harrison and others captured it, matured with it.. and made it their own. For me, its a matter of time before I mature with it and finally make it my own. For now, I'm collecting all the breadcrumbs that will lead to that.
