Well ... a little of both if you want to be specific.

Two of our current line up were found auditioned and "hired" by using the search function from my account. Both of those individuals have gotten us gigs as well. One of those whom was located via BM also found our current front man.
I also, utilizing the search function with local settings, became acquainted with a gentleman whom became one of our biggest benefactors by way of the people he networked with . He has since moved to Colorado.
Though those he put us in contact with still call on us each year for a huge July fourth celebration.
Did it spring board us to fame and fortune ... no.
Still worth the price of admission?
Absolutely
Especially if you consider all the technical help and support I have received from the forum members.
