Yeah what you feel.

Do you feel politics>? really?

Get ready, my next critique is coming.

Pound my pink ass, you coward(s).

PS: I got that "love, anger, sadness, hate and regret"..
Next tune, you'll love it or hate it but it's in there.

Yep us Democrats fall in love

Our next tune is dedicated to old vacuum cleaners
It's called "Nipples"

Actually we're working on our version of Howlin' Wolfs Killing Floor we're kinda held up because there's not enough stock footage of death and destruction for the video.

I am Rasta Superman, defender of justice,
and the American way.

It's cool Mr. Scott, if it wasn't believe me
I'd tell you, maybe nicer than I would others.

I hate the guitar tracks I put down on that last
song redoing them now, not enough guitar.

I just keep thinking I will read something on here and have an epiphany that elevates me to another musical level. If all we do is complain about one politician or another, I don't get to have my epiphany. This is really why I started dropping my music on this site. I need the epiphany, I need the inspiration and I need the raw material to grind up and reconstitute. I guess I am being selfish but when it comes to music, I don't care anymore.
And unless I am taking some hostages and making a political stand, the state of politics these days makes me want to leave the country. Otherwise it's a helpless feeling I am powerless to stop. I can't do anything to stop these liars and con men except to vote. And when you ask me what voting means to me, I ask what caliber voting am I supposed to be doing. Oh and I don't write political tunes, either. It doesn't contain enough empathy to get a good cry out of anyone, unless it's a cry of dismay.

I played a scratch track for someone I know of late and she cried at the end. I raised my hands in the air and yelled in triumph. She asked me what that was all about. I told her that "it's a sad song and the fact you cried without any lyrics means we are on the right path to what were looking for".

I figure if I don't sell any CD's or do anything much of note, the fact that I can make em cry is the best indicator that I am actually penetrating that shell we all live in and thus a big "W" in the win or lose column.

If all this site is to be is a pack of wolves venting about something they can't or won't do anything about, it's pretty much over for me as it bores me to tears.

Ha ha ha Scott, you sound like you been at the bottle , on a binge, Bro/ What's this really all about...? You telling us Its our fault that you cant get inspired with an epiphany?

If you want to fight, I say let's fight. (I like that one, cause I am a 16th century type of guy)
If you want to make music, I say let's make music.
If you want to whine about how old you are or how your pu**y hurts, try getting that into your (and I mean everyone's) music.

Fair enough

None of you are making anything stellar that I can see or hear, thus you are wasting time and energy on nonsense that doesn't do one drop of good for anyone.

Oh Gosh Scott... Thank you so much for your support... (Mr Christopher would like to talk to you about his definition of art...)

You never heard of a political forum? Or maybe you think that your fellow musicians are sympathetic to your rant(s)?

Actually I do believe many listen to my rants. I don't expect they all agree, but I bet ya I generate a lil food for thought, which translates to ire, which translates to "epiphany". Hey Are you a "Jack-Daniels "or a " Jim Beam" drinker?

MAKE SOME MUSIC. If you devoted that energy you diverted to your mouth, maybe whoever would have something extra-ordinary on their player to actually listen to ?

Yikes...

(JHaley, not directed at you. You just started this thread)

Oh and f**k you Paperdog and anyone else..

Ok Bro, I see how ya are...

If you want a piece, my milk bone underwear is staying on, come with it.
But when I break you down, don't cry because I gave you space to slip by because I'll just turn it up and I don't mean music, lil person. Lynard got a taste and so have some others, if you play in your glass house, I will break your windows and then beat on you some more. I want to be behaved but I am getting to the point, it's no longer possible.

Yer Killing me here!

If you think you wanna be aggressive, try doing that on my next critique because the song is basically done and the puffery most of you supply is not only pathetic but uninspired and not really helpful to adjust for a better product.

Well Scott... I will try to honor your request...Just as soon as I take the time to ever bother listening to anything of yours again... No worries, mate! (I will look for something stellar from you on the the top-10 charts and I'll let ya know what I think, then.)
I gave you an honest critique on the last song you posted...And this is the gratitude you show? My critique wasn't Good enough for you? Or maybe I don't have enough creds with you? That's okay, man... Its really no big deal. I' can spend my attention toward other deserving musicians' on this site...

You have a nice weekend now... and remember that Beethoven's last movement was found on his piano bench 8)

Atheist and happy about it, although if I was not, I'd behave the same way- I just don't bash my life into others heads hoping they'll live MY way.
Veteran and happy about it- Wanted money for art school, and never really had a pro-reagan mentality although he was my boss at the time. (ugh)
Liberal with a slant to the middle- and happy about it- made sure that when I was serving my country others could live in the land of the free and home of the brave. It's called home of the brave, not HOPE to be brave.
Glad to know that this is a great forum, and that no apologies are needed for feeling or thinking in ANY way- and glad to be amongst those who do feel as I do.

If you can feel something that you can work into your music or art, you are ahead of most of these would be "stars".

The point is to use what you have in a productive manner, not wipe it all over the forum with that thing you call a mouth.

If you need a link to a good political forum, I know a few.
I just don't read that nonsense because it's boring and trite.

Paper, I never meant you didn't give a reasonable critique.
Some others though, wow they are supposed to be pro level and all they give is the equivalent of a smile or a handshake.

You'll agree that I say too much on a critique, especially if i didn't like it.
I think that the negative is what makes you better on your next attempt.

I'd rather be solidly blasted by all, then warmly and fraudulently received like soggy white bread at a starving hobo convention.

If you talk sh*t and you have nothing posted to show for it, you make me sick, any and all. Make what you feel come through your music or find a new hobby cause you aren't getting it done.

PS: This last tune is done, I think. I am putting it up as soon as I get the OK from my cohort. My vocals are a work in progress and will be for some time, but I truly believe but the emotion that comes through in this tune makes me bulletproof in the eyes of a pack of whiners that can't or won't take their passion and inject it into their work.

Producers must be taking anyone these days, Mmmm?
Guess again, boys and girls.. Where is your good stuff?
If you don't have a definitive answer, you either need to change it or find a new hobby because you will be swallowed like Jonah and the whale.

(You aren't the whale, although you may have a weight issue)
