Common Myth:

1) The president is to blame for our laws: / Nope: Congress is
2) Its the Presidents fault that the country is so messed up: / Yes and no. Going by the Machevellian concept, the president can only represent 1/3 of the nation efficiently. The thirds are: (PACs, The Populace at Large and The Party) So the president is actuallly 1/3 at fault.

3) The Party represents its constituents vi congress/Senate electees and opposes the other party. This is why the country is so messed up. ? Nope. Quite the contrary, during normal operations at DC, each party 'has' to co-mingle its business with other party... by virtue of the fact that all U.S. Laws represent Populace, and not Party

4) DC is the bane of the American Population. ? Nope, Actually, The American Population is the bane of DC. The trouble is, nobody grasps and exploits that fact.

When the American Population decides to UNITE once again, rather than divide, then we will see marked improvements in our Country. Until that day, Ya'll can kiss the constitution's effectiveness Buh-Byyyyyyyyyyye...

I'm glad we can all agree everything is not what we want, but we realize there is a problem with our system.

I like to think the Constitution is more like the Pirate Code ........... more of a guideline than an actual set of rules.

It's due for a thoughtful remodel, what was the USA back then, the writers had little idea what we would become. There is strength in unity or we could go the way of the broken Soviet Union. The civil war was anything but. Revolution in this country would make the Russian Revolution appear mild. I never got in a serious fight when I was drunk, but sober I could do some damage, but I can't drink that much anymore and I have learned to keep my cool 8)

Ayrtrayn that is a common misconception. The group that drafted the constitution knew EXACTLY what we were up against and were prophetic in their interpretation. The Constitution DOES NOT NEED a remodel ARE YOU CRAZY! It needs to be adhered to NOW MORE THAN EVER! That right there is the difference between flaming liberals and conservative's. Progressive's are so ARROGANT they don't need god or principle's Hell they just do what they want. To hell with the Constitution that MADE THIS THE GREATEST MOST COMPASSIONATE country the world has ever scene! Oh but I forgot flaming liberals believe we are a horrible country never mind the fact we ARE in the process of bankrupting our grandchildrens grandchildrens future to help the ENTIRE world out while they all stick a knife in our backs and laugh at us for being STUPID enough to allow it!

. LMAO every time you say that! The problem is that if we "kill hem all" aren't we doing God's job? I believe in pacifism. If God wants us dead it will happen. We don't have to do God's job, He's pretty good at it.

Jeff, Its not Obamas fault...(Entirely). FOr years I have been telling all my friends : "The trouble with individulaism...is that everybody is practicing it". We are divided because AMericans are so hung up with "coolism" that they wouldn't dare be caught dead supporting "un-original (as in, their own) thought. Nobody pitches for the team anymore... and OBAMA is simply exploiting what already exists.

I don't see how it could be all
Obama's fault either, I think it's
probably the fault of that little
tyrant from Texas George B,
he should have been dragged out
of the White House and hanged.

Dog and LD, I am not saying it is ALL Obummers fault. In the beginning I was telling folks give the man a chance. He is a fake and not qualified to be President. He hasn't led this country in 2 years IMO! At first he tried and I have to give him credit for that! However his hatred of at least 50% if not more of the people in this country is obvious. I started to HATE this man When his hatred of Texas became OH SO OBVIOUS to ALL of Texas. His DIVISIVENESS IS ALL HE HAS! He wants this country divided hoping to win another election. I am simply telling you folks if this Guy would LEAD as a President is supposed to we would be on our way out of this mess. Instead coming out of Washington we are getting trumped up figures on the economy and lied to just like this President has done to the catholics. He will take from you what ever he can and then turn on you like a RABBID DOG! I DON'T TRUST HIM HE IS A LIAR!

Mr Haley, brother I believe you are a great
guitar player, and I've been playing thread
games with you, sorry about that sh#t. Pretty
much I agree with most of your political ramblings, lol
The only thing worse for this country then Romney
is his retarded brother Rick Sanatorium, I use to
support Ron Paul, but it's clear he's been bought,
we all got a price.

Personally I don't care about the numbers coming
out of Washington DC, I care about SWMO. In SWMO
we reaped during Clinton's reign, and then Bush came
to try and take it all back. Bush and Cheney have yet
to pay for there crimes.

Here's something REALLY scary President Mitt Romney
and Vice President Rick Sanatorium

Michigan is the current battleground, with Romney's ads saying how this is his home and how he's going to fix everything. Excuse me, sir, weren't you the one who said we should just let the American auto industry die? Apparently you also think we have short memories here; wrong again.

fisherman bob wrote:Sorry for the non-musical post. Is it my imagination but does anybody give a crap about the Republican primaries at this point? Voters' attendance is way down. The two front runners have the personality of moldy cardboard. None of the Republicans., I mean NONE have even hinted at a specific plan once elected. If Santorum gets nominated about 96% of women will vote for Obama. Romney will also get slaughtered by Obama. This has been the most lackluster campaign in my lifetime. Truly pathetic.

Thought to quote the start of the thread for perspective.

The GOP conceded this whole thing from the beginning.
Obama's a Centrist and that's where the country's at, not left or right.
If it was Left we'd have President Clinton, if it was Right we'd have President McCain or who ever was right of him. You'd have President Romney if the GOP would have moved to the center and we could all try and blame him for all the BS our Congress has put us through.

John Thune their star quarterback as well as anyone else like Chris Christie wont play this time because frankly not enough water has went under the bridge from "W". Thune tied to Iraq and tarp, Christie knows 2016 will come and he's not a real healthy guy.

"These guys" are selling books
No use in anyone getting their panties in a knot, the system is never going to change in many of our lifetimes.
Fool me once shame on me fool me twice shame on you fool me three times .....thats why they only get two terms.

My friends till we get all of these carpet bagging crooks in congress limited to two terms and make it a felony to become lobbyists after serving in public office and vice-versa we'll change nothing.

It is just another dog and Pony show.

Did you know one of the candidates sang horribly, the national anthem in Florida? Just to get more votes?

I am waiting for them to start stripping on a pole in the more female populated states for the primary vote.

Politics? It is all a joke. A bunch of crooks getting away with insider trading, around 402 million dollars a year.

No one is doing anything, and the people are too worried about making it to the next month to rally.

What a great scam, I will have to hand it to them. Those politicians are smart. As long as they keep clapping their monkey cymbals, and dancing like chimps, no one will be the wiser.
