Perhaps tiresome now. But it will be even more tiresome when America becomes a Socialist state.

First, get your definition of Socialism straight. America is largely run by corporations. By definition, that is fascism. And I know you'll trot out National Socialism (Nazism) as an example. But, that was pretty much a misnomer. Since, the Nazis hated Socialists and tried wrapping it in "Jewish Socialism" as a way of combining enemies.

Read history and get a dictionary.

Sorry Mike you need to study up.

The Nazis used business to take control as did the communists in Russia, China Vietnam and every other country that has succumbed to the globalist social movement.

Why do you think that prick is in Brazil right now with no less than 10 CEO's ??

There are only two ways to wrest power.

Financial manipulation and force. Ever since the printing of the "Little Red Book" Financial manipulation along with the intentional destruction of a society's moral fabric ( pitting children against their parents ) has been the mode of operation of the socialist / communist / globalist movement.

We know whom they are, they are all the same ...

Uh, excuse me? BUSINESS? You're claiming that revolutions in Russia, China, Vietnam, etc. were done by using businesses? They overthrew their governments with a checkbook?

Sorry Mike , you need to study up. When I was 18 I could pay 6 months of car insurance with one weeks pay.

Now with all the hidden taxes on that same corporate insurance company, on the cost side of employing people, not one 18 year old kid could say the same thing I could. The cost of compliance to regs has raised cost sky high.

Is the big greedy corp making any more money, no they are just passing the cost of government socialism, continued through higher taxes levied against every one.

The cry goes out "tax the rich", The cry should be "stop taxing every one so much"

Right now it can't be done because we are already half way to being a socialist state.

If you think I'm kidding, you pay your car insurance with one weeks pay.

Not everyone works at Taco Bell Glen. My last car insurance bill was $550 for 6 months; I could pay that three times with a weeks wages.

Mike,

Socialism, Communism, Marxism.... all samey samey to the guy on the bottom. They ARE all the same in the end oppression and loss of freedom persecution poor standard of life. The corrupt guys at the top have all the fun, money, mansions airplanes, limos, and everything else. The guys at the bottom fight for food, energy, and transportation. Perhaps you see a difference, I don't.

Actually, socialism doesn't believe in having an elite. It believes in people having a common ownership, self governance, etc. Lenin and Stalin used the idea of socialism and Karl Marx's theory to rile up the people. It was their campaign hype. Unfortunately, it wasn't what they stuck with. Communism took over and the people became oppressed by it, taking away common rights. Communism and socialism are two different birds entirely.

America is by no means anywhere close to a socialist ideal, nowhere.

The corporations have simply become the dictators. Presidents are just like all the other members of congress, they're bought and sold by the corporations who contribute to their campaign funds. Like Robin Williams said, they should all wear their corporate sponsors on their suits like race car drivers.

THIS IS NOT SOCIALISM.

Here is the definitely of socialism: "Socialism is an economic and political theory advocating public or common ownership and cooperative management of the means of production and allocation of resources. A socialist society is organized on the basis of relatively equal power-relations, self-management, dispersed decision-making (adhocracy) and a reduction or elimination of hierarchical and bureaucratic forms of administration and governance; the extent of which varies in different types of socialism. This ranges from the establishment of cooperative management structures to the abolition of all hierarchical structures in favor of free association.

I would love to see some form of a socialist society, a society where people can exchange more than money, but barter, community, but unfortunately, man doesn't know how to set his ego aside in order to have that. Where there is no rich and no poor, but everyone is provided for.

So please stop calling Obama or our government a socialist, because it's clearly not that.

Big difference in the "theory" of socialism and it's global application.

Would be a perfect system if men were not evil.

But we are ...

Must have checks and balances backed with firepower or

Your just a slave.

My point is in a communal society, everyone has their task to do and in return we have a clean, running city, with food, technological advancement, and everyone is happy instead of this stress of always having to work, to make sure our jobs are secure, freaking out when we lose our jobs.

If you look at tribal nations, they're considered savages because they don't have clothes and concrete, but if you look at them, they're happy. The tribal leaders run the show, but they live in the same type of houses as everyone else. They think about the good of their people, not their own self-preservation if a disaster strikes. They have games and such that creates healthy competition. It's true that some tribes are less advance than others, but there are soome indigenous tribes out there that are very spiritually in touch with the planet, in touch with each other.

It's a ridiculous system to have something such as money where you spend your life chasing it, how to get more than the next person. How nice things have been gobbled up by the rich. There should be no rich and no poor. There should not be a bunch of stuffed shirts high on a hill making assinine decisions to just line their pockets with money, and care less about the people. Where your only worth as a human being comes from what school you went to, what your zip code is and how much is in your bank account.

Poor people behave the way they do because they're morale is gone! That's why they don't give a sh*t about being on welfare, getting abortions on another person's dime, crime and so on. You live in a ghetto where you have no money to ever go to a rich school and you can't become a rapper or a boxer or some other sports figure, or celebrity, the most of them don't have the moral strength to succeed. They have lost their way, they no longer know how to band together to work for a common goal - look at what's happening in the Middle East.

America as much as it likes to brag that it's all that, creates this system of disention. The middle class and the rich look down their nose at the poor and say it's their fault, I'm not responsible for my brothers and sisters. Well now these people are losing their jobs and their houses, and they're finding they have little hope of finding something else. Instead, they like to take a gun and off their whole family because they see just how weak they really are, then make up some bullshit that they'll be better off dead.

It's a flawed system we have here, always have, because it's set up where somebody has to lose. People don't think in terms of of a win-win situation for everybody.

My way of thinking is light years ahead of this bullshit we have here. These dumb political arguments, where people can't look up and think how ridiculous they all sound. My kids make more sense.

If there were a blending of the indigenous way of life and the concrete where they wouldn't be simply complacent to simply live with a bow and arrow. Can you imagine how far we could go in our scientific experiments without this paper thing called money hanging over our heads? That we could all be using natural resources for electric and powering cars which would be earth-friendly.

I see many things way beyond this ghetto we currently live . . .

You are right

Until human nature steps in. Until the drug called power and the other drug called the need to be controlled kicks in.

And thae basic human need to be rewarded for accomplishment.

Deep in my soul I am a Utopian Anarchist. No leaders, no government. Just people living and doing what they do best without the need for human leaders and currency. Unfortunately there are a vast majority that have to be governed. They must be sheparded. There are still too many who actually have to be locked away or put down. Not all negative motivations are greed based. Many are based in the need to hurt, the need to dominate, the accute drive to subjugate others all the way down to thier very soul.

That is why we have and need what we do.

You're right because I don't think I'll see it in my lifetime.

I mean, I hear more atrocious stories done by the middle class and the poor, such as how families treat each other when the matriarch or patriarch dies and the fighting over property and money - and we're not talking that much money. How people misuse the legal system and treat it like a lottery. Then these same people wanna go and blast what an evil system we have in Washington. You think?

You Liberals live in La-La Land. Your philosophy is that nobody should be accountable for their own actions. To lazy to work? no problem, the people that do work hard will be your drones and take care of your every need. Can't keep your legs shut or your pecker in your pocket? No problem, murdering and innocent life is now the new form of birth control so there is no need and the hard workers or drones will pay for that also. The guy that raped and murdered the two children next door? Well, he was abused as a child so it's really not his fault so instead of killing the dog lets take care of him. Oh, once again the hard working people or drones will pay for that once again. The list could go on and on. It's kind of funny that Obama came into office with these great liberal ideas but got a quick reality check. Did he bring the troops home as promised? No he sent more troops! Not only that but just started his own war with Libya. Did he shut down Guantanamo? No! He just signed a new order keeping it open indefinitely. Did he reform health care costs? No! It's now even more expensive and they are giving out waivers like candy. These dreams of some liberal utopia where everyone is taken care of is idiotic at best.

Are you aware that radio shows like Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck use hired actors as callers? Premiere On Call is a company owned by Clear Channel designed for that purpose.
