Yes, this, definitely. Also, it's nice to let other musicians you appreciated their show as listeners too. When we hear something great, we always go up and introduce ourselves to other musicians and tell them we enjoyed their show.
I went to see a favorite artist of mine back in June who was on tour. I went up to her and told her I'd driven up from Orange County just to see her, and that I really appreciated her as an artist. She was very gracious and thanked me for coming out. I liked that. She's one of the few people I follow and keep tabs on. I also promote her to my friends.
