Thanks Glen. I made my videos with a cheap Canon still camera that had 640X480 video as an option. It was pretty inexpensive. A Canon A 620. It is out of production now, but almost every camera they make shoots video now. I bought a wide screen standard def JVC but it didn't even do as well as any of my cheaper Canons.
All I did was download a free ware video converter to re size it for YouTube. I believe it is called Any-dvd-converter.exe
http://www.download25.com/install/any-d ... er-pro.htm
It works very good. Only problem is that it is limited to 3 minutes, so I had to shorten the last video. It resizes and converts a myriad of video file types.
The first video, the Bob Dylan song, was given to a friend at another forum. He asked if he could post it on You Tube, so I have no idea what he used to convert it from 640 X 480 full screen to a smaller format. I took the second right out of the camera and kept the same format (avi) and just made a smaller avi out of it. And I uploaded the smaller version right to You Tube. That program has a You Tube converter option in it. That program allows you to choose from several sizes.
I hope that helps you out.
