Not just any Rum will do. Meyers spiced is expensive but has awesome full flavor.
Just right for a shot to spice up your Joe.

Carolan's is the brand of "Irish Creme" to look for. They sell it in the state store here.

Its Cream from Clover fed cows, Honey from Clover fed bees, and Irish Whiskey. Nice and mellow, put a shot in the coffee cup before adding coffee, it stirs itself.

Bailey's seems to have a bigger market share, but is more expensive and uses High Fructose Corn Syrup as a sweetener. As do the other brands I have tried... and I promise, the Carolan's is superior.

You forgot the best part...Carolan's is half the price of Baileys! I've been using it for years. Mixed with Kalua and milk over ice, nice.

Good point Jim, I'm sucha Cheapskate I assumed it went without sayings its a great deal!

Rule of Thumb... if Dewy suggests it, its cheaper (probably free) than comparable products.

Our Home Grown eggs being an exception to the rule.
Chicken feed = $8.99 + various yard grass clippings
12 eggs a day

7 dozen "factory eggs"= Around $14

I have a lot more labor in the homegrown... so I figure I'm losing money at $3 a dozen x 6 dozen = $18

Plus now that spring has sprung, going to be hatching more of those eggs than I eat.

I've used & like Carolan's. Never realized it's "more natural." It's just so easy to remember Bailey's, for some reason. I guess it's like Kleenex - you always remember the name, even if you want something else...

Anyways, that was pretty funny.
What happened to him? Whered he go?

Then there was that time when I had a dear diary meltdown and used Capt Scotts handle in reference to some very violent feelings.
I used him because I thought he wouldnt care or just laugh it off, but never saw a response from him.

Then I tongue-lashed Dewey, and he doesnt keep the thread about health care going, and he seems to have disaapeared.

Come to think of it, the only people that have responded to me lately are philby, craig, and sans.

(and ohhhh yeah... getting all mad and basically demanding an apology from phil was another good one)

What gives people??

I'm still around .....

The wife and I went to Mexico for a month ... for a much needed break.
Played some gigs a couple of times a week in a bar with a blues band I manage to though together down there ... when the cruise ships came into port ... lots of fun ... shitting equipment :?

We're back home now and back to reality ....

Yep...
No, not mad at him.
Family life is fine and dandy. :)

I just come here and vent on when my brain starts getting all weird.
I tell ya... I've been like a menopausal woman the last couple months or so.
Losing my marbles.

Yay!
I have the ability to summon Prevost.
(Just speak his name three times and cross your fingers and toes).

Can I come down and be your butler Prevost?
