As far as your "work" is concerned, yes, I could hear some notes in there, but I could not understand your lyric, I couldn't hear much of what you were trying to present. The bass, if there was any, was completely lost in the "mix," & between the lousy recording quality & your effects, I have no idea whether you're playing hard rock or death metal or heavy jazz, so your genre of choice is moot as well.
Why you would bring up race or rap or hip-hop or the bible belt is also beyond me. You should probably work on finding a direction, whether it be musically or conversationally.
