I have no idea whom this young woman was. For all I can tell she was just another spoiled rich child whom killed herself with stupidity. What a shame and waste. Too many young women emulate these bizarre behaviors the PC call "diseases".
You are right about the "connectivity issue" though. And being a "music forum the post was of course appropriate.
Personally
I'd rather hear about Frank.

I can't help it that I have this ability though. I don't know that it is a spiritual gift though, rather than simply powerful observational skills? But I have freaked my friends out all my life, when I tell them this, and they show me a pciture of a relative and I can tell them all this stuff about their personalities, and even history sometimes. I grew up in nightclubs and hotels, traveling with my mom's band from 12 years old until I turned 18 and left the road. I never drank, cause I was underage. I think I may have just learned alot about people, by being sober for 6 years in a bar, and as a kid, just taking it all in, listening to the older drinkers, spill their guts about their problems, etc...

I think I just learned to pick up on facial expressions and subtle gestures that people generally make unconsciously.

Kind of like Sherlock Holmes and the power of observation.

I'm sorry but that's a load of BS the size of NYC. I've been a victim of this type of discrimination my whole life, and frankly, I'm telling you that you are wrong. You are discriminating based on a persons physical features. Giftwrap that any way you want that helps you sleep at night, but it's still discrimination.

Oh well, merry xmas everyone

Kramer.
I don't judge you on anything but how you have been with me which is really starting to become a really good friend. I like your openness and honesty in all things and you are straight to the point too.

I do share Craig's youth however. I was immersed in it and now trying to emulate what I was born into and learned from it I guess? I dunno? There are 5 senses we are told but I think 6 and for me at least I need to see all 5 or 6 (whatever) to get a handle on a person.

Of course it doesn't matter in the music world if all is going well? But if your life depended on it then its something to take into account.

By the way. Your eyes are not too close together.
Just so you know.

Keep well.
Happy Christmas.

Chippy.

Kramer,

I'm merely speaking a generality here. Some people are born unable to smile, and one could assume, falsely, from seeing dozens of pictures of them frowning that they were not very happy too often.

If you can meet someone in person, naturally you'd get the best chance at reading them accurately. Paying attention to people's responses and the words they choose, reveals volumes about someone.

A picture is only a moment in time.

There's no way you could get as accurate a read, as knowing them in person.

Still...

I can tell alot about people just from seeing a picture of them. But as a single moment in time (assuming only one picture rather than many) it isn't going to be 100% accurate. Of course not.

But I've had the benefit of seeing many pictures of Mrs. Murphy's husband. And he's a scoundrel. Pure and simple.

Since we started discussing this, a few articles have now come out, detailing this guy's financial and legal problems, apparently using his wife's name to get investor money for bogus deals, where no one got their money back, others have claimed he was controlling and manipulative in his marriage, etc...

Seems to bear me out on this one.

we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one. Maybe the guy is on the take, I dunno. I'm sure plenty of people would have known that before the fact.

but to say you can look at a moment in time, a still shot, a flash in the pan, and get even a most general sense of who someone is, well.. I just find that insulting to those of us with enough patience to have realized that you really can't judge a book by it's cover, and one day, it really will come home to roost.

But in this land, the first amendment certainly gives yo the right to express your opinion, and me the right to disagree. I hate to be a dick during the holidays so I'm dropping this and wising you a merry xmas.

Chippy-
I do believe in a minor or undetermined 6th sense, but I think it's far more physical in nature than using another sense (sight) to make determinations of that sense- if you know what I mean..

Now if you meet someone and get an instant sense of dread, or enter a building that feels 'creepy' well, that's probably closer to the 6th than otherwise described in this thread.

ah well, I feel dumb arguing about this stuff, so merry effin christmas everyone! LOL, here's a GREAT christmas video!!
