Chippy wrote:Very nice piece of working indeed. I didn't find it too busy at all in any way. If you can play the flute then let it sound like a flute, otherwise you'll just end up with a keys sounding piece.

Liked it very much, when is the album out? :D

Yeah but see, there is more instrumentation that will be added and you don't want all of the parts fighting for attention. We have to share the moment with the vocal. That being said...if all of the parts were recorded at the same time then we could have played in the manner in which we were not stepping on toes. Now Hayden has to do some splicing but I am sure the finished product will be just lovely.

Chippy I am glad that you like it and I am happy that you like the sound of the flute. Eventually I will do something that can have more "me" in it.

Mary I understand that. I was pointing to the fact that someone said your flute runs were a little long perhaps? (Forget who?). I was paying a compliment, not knocking emptiness.

Chippy believe me, I took it as a compliment. I am getting many compliments here and they can be a bit overwhelming. But I guess it is wonderful to receive a bunch of compliments. WHat more can I say...I love the compliments. 8)

The bottom line is, MARY CAN JAM!

Based on this collaboration with Hayden, I can't imagine any one of us on this forum not calling up Mary to the bandstand for some improvisational inspirational playin' if the opportunity would arise.

I like this, folks! A little tweaking in the volumes, & it could stand.

The call & answer style isn't the only one that works, if you watch your volume levels.

Some nice fluterating for sure, Mary. It seems to fit in nicely.
