The other day while I was driving through the small town I now live in three young girls passed on the crossing. They weren't that young but you could tell they weren't legally allowed to do the other if you get what I mean?

One of them was very pretty and shot a glance she should not know how to shoot at me at her age! What did I do? Well I sort of sneered at her.

My Daughter is the prettiest thing on Earth. I'm completely biased of course but I'm no prude but nor am I blinkered. I'll wager she did that too on occasion but I bet she didn't get sneered at.

The Defacto here is that in another time and place where so many people were not shits I might have felt a small pang of smugness. However in our day and age you are in jail for the slightest showing of intent. (Rightly so too) but the press and the system stink to high heaven.

I think what I am trying to say is this. So what! Maybe he did like the company of younger males. I like being around females myself but heck who am I to judge?

This is a pure case of standing on the precipice upon which lead weights will eventually fall to one side, good or bad.

I liked his Music, danced to it, met some lovely ladies during his reign and he was a true one off. I think he was way more eccentric that people give him credit for. By the way Roger Daltry was pulled up a few years ago for something or other. No idea what happened there or if any validity was in that?

At the end of the day it was about his music, he's now dead and will write no more, its a real pity on timing, he was huge in Britain.

But just becuase you have a bloody knife doesnt mean you commited the crime. It sure does come close...
But why settle out of court if it was really done? Wouldnt you seek punishment if it happened to your child? Money would not be enough for me thats for sure.

Well that's what I was trying to say, he may have been deemed innocent of certain crimes, but it is a solid fact that he slept in the same bed with them. I don't give a crap about any of the semantics past that.

It's like some kind of bizarro cartoon how easily some people are swooned by celebrity and convince themselves that a person can do no wrong.

People seem to have also forgot the video of him hanging an infant over a railing at a hotel... something that if *I* had done that, I might be getting released from jail on good behavior by now... might.

I dont like or dislike Jackson, but when I see this stuff on Wikipedia and in the second deal hes what 40 yrs old holding hands and sleeping with a 13 yr old and even gets on a c documentary and discuss's it.

A few years ago, I was practicing my guitar in my MMA gym in town on a summer morning.

They wanted to "hang and watch me play".
I thanked them for thier interest and told them if they would like to come back with their mothers, I would be glad to play for them. Otherwise they would have to leave.
I locked the door behind them as they left.
The point being, apperence can be as damning as an act.

This is kind of what I've believed all along. Michael Jackson never struck me as someone who was an 'adult' or of an "adult mind".

Would I let my kids go spend the night with him if he lived nearby? With a veritable theme park on his compound, and constantly sleeping with underage kids?

Yeah, but they'd be WIRED and a S.W.A.T. team would be right outside.

I believe he was found "not guilty," which is completely different than being found "innocent." The "NG" ruling means there wasn't enough evidence to prove his guilt. That's all. An "Innocent" ruling would truly exonerate him, after his having proved the charges were false.

Same was true for OJ - innocence was not proved, but guilt couldn't be proved, either.

This leaves much doubt in our minds, doesn't it?

All I can do is hope he didn't do those things he was accused of. No one knows, unless they were there, & that kid still ain't talking.

I can't believe that the media has made such a big deal out of his death, though. He hasn't really done anything much for a long time, has he? Yet they are still talking about his death. It's way worse than Elvis or John Lennon, ain't it? Perhaps it's just cuz he was a guy with questionable character, someone to argue about?
