Total freedom can not be based on laws, that is enforcement of another mans freedom. It can not be based on morals, that is just another word for legal based on a different authority.

Since morality is different for different people one group's morals cannot be forced on any other group. Even within a particular group morals are dynamic and change over time. Just because your religion teaches that homosexuality or abortion is wrong you have no right to dictate what I believe. This is the primary reason this country was founded - freedom. If you don't like freedom you are in the wrong country.

Sorry Scotty... Its flat out wrong to murder. I don't tolerate murders or murdering. And, In the case of murder, I have to insist that such persons keep the 'bad' in themselves...to themselves

same as the folks who are against abortion (cos it's murder) but will make an exception in the case of rape or incest.....is that NOT murder (as you see it) as well? you're still taking a life.

(I'd be barbequing them night and day and then feeding remains back to the next asshole to hit the hot seat. Talk about a drop in the crime rate, it would plummet considering the fact that if you do something bad enough, I believe your human rights should be completely removed. We could go back to testing everything on death row people instead of animals as well. I bet the animals would be happy about that too.)
