Calm down guys,,,, This country, Our country, is in far worse shape than anyone understands. This election is just a referendum on the direction we go. Don't take that last statement lightly. Most of you won't understand,,, and just ridicule me.

All of this has been done before, many, many times. All the attempts have lead to failure,,, HISTORY. You go look it up.

I don't give a damn about Obama,, I don't give a damn about Romney.
Choice of less or lesser,,,,,
What pisses me off the most is the corruption that runs rampant at every government level. All eyes have been taught to focus on the evil corporations. Well the evil, corrupt corporations have learned to dance with all the evil corrupt politicians. Chicken or the Egg?

Doesn't any one have values that include tolerance and self responsibility?

If we don't remember these,,, Then America,,,,, will Die. Crying or Very sad

If you will take some time to familiarize yourself with the careers of Don Rumsfeld & Dick Cheney, for easy examples, you will see that it is an evil breed that fouls the nest, both chicken and egg are rotten.

DONALD RUMSFELD:

" .... from 1977 to 1985 Rumsfeld served as Chief Executive Officer, President, and then Chairman of G. D. Searle & Company, a worldwide pharmaceutical company based in Skokie, Illinois. During his tenure at Searle, Rumsfeld led the company's financial turnaround, thereby earning awards as the Outstanding Chief Executive Officer in the Pharmaceutical Industry from the Wall Street Transcript (1980) and Financial World (1981). In 1985, Searle was sold to Monsanto Company. Rumsfeld is believed to have earned around $12 million from this sale.

From January 1997 until being sworn in as the 21st Secretary of Defense in January 2001, Rumsfeld served as Chairman of Gilead Sciences, Inc. Gilead Sciences is the developer of Tamiflu (Oseltamivir), which is used in the treatment of bird flu.[33] As a result, Rumsfeld's holdings in the company grew significantly when avian flu became a subject of popular anxiety during his later term as Secretary of Defense. Following standard practice, Rumsfeld recused himself from any decisions involving Gilead, and he directed the Pentagon's General Counsel to issue instructions outlining what he could and could not be involved in if there were an avian flu pandemic and the Pentagon had to respond"

DICK CHENEY:

"Between 1987 and 1989, during his last term in Congress, Cheney was a director of the Council on Foreign Relations foreign policy organization.[53]

With the new Democratic administration under President Bill Clinton in January 1993, Cheney left the Department of Defense and joined the American Enterprise Institute. He also served a second term as a Council on Foreign Relations director from 1993 to 1995. From 1995 until 2000, he served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Halliburton, a Fortune 500 company and market leader in the energy sector.

Cheney's record as CEO was subject to some dispute among Wall Street analysts; a 1998 merger between Halliburton and Dresser Industries attracted the criticism of some Dresser executives for Halliburton's lack of accounting transparency. Although Cheney is not named as an individual defendant in the suit, Halliburton shareholders are pursuing a class-action lawsuit alleging that the corporation artificially inflated its stock price during this period; in June of 2011, the United States Supreme Court reversed a lower court ruling and allowed the case to continue be litigated. Cheney was named in a December 2010 corruption complaint filed by the Nigerian government against Halliburton, which the company settled for $250 million.

During Cheney's tenure, Halliburton changed its accounting practices regarding revenue realization of disputed costs on major construction projects. Cheney resigned as CEO of Halliburton on July 25, 2000. As vice president, he argued that this step removed any conflict of interest. Cheney's net worth, estimated to be between $30 million and $100 million, is largely derived from his post at Halliburton, as well as the Cheneys' gross income of nearly $8.82 million.
He was also a member of the board of advisors of the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA) before becoming vice president."

.... just the tip of the iceberg.

So what is your point Vinny. Just to scream about two people you don't like,,, or figure out a solution to this.
I'm not starting a personal attack on you, but you are directing malice to what was in the past, and you are only covering one side. I will grant you have put some good effort in, to respond to what I am not certain.

(sorry that was a major run on sentence, I'm watching the game, and not paying attention to grammar. Sorry Jimmy.)

The solution is simple. There are four viable parties. Two of the parties have done a good job of convincing people they only have two choices.

The point is- If either, or both third parties gets 5% of the vote, then they automatically qualify for PECF (federal campaign funding) and are automatically guaranteed the right to participate in the presidential debates the next election.

So if anyone REALLY wanted change, you would be able to get it via more choices and platforms, just by voting 3rd party. Forget the nonsense about WINNING, it's a joke, and it's also the chains that shackle us/you/me to the current dumb and dumber candidates we are given today. WINNING is getting that 5%. People need to stop with the defeatist bullcrap, it's propaganda, and clearly effective.

People talk about wasted votes.. I just demonstrated how much a 3rd party vote is NOT wasted. IMO, voting for the status quo is not only a wasted vote, but a vote for plutocracy.
