No we’re not, we are on the brink of glorious conquest. Some things will have to change, like that people having a say thing will have to end. Although I doubt anyone will notice the difference, we have been on auto pilot since the Iraq invasion anyway. If illegally and immorally warring against another nation doesn’t get you into trouble, exactly what would? Immoral in the sense that it was ill contrived through known lies and deceit. Of course there is no love for Saddam. In short three people hijacked our “democracy” and got off without even a warning. People would rather stew in denial than face the ugly truth and bring those responsible to justice. So of course, it will continue.

It would be the best possible news for the Pentagon, they could take off the gloves and be entirely guilt free about it. Unlike the WMD debacle conjured from thin air, the direct effect on our trade is more than enough actual tangible justification. When it directly effects the trade for most of the UN membership, it’s not a far cry to assume they would be backing it as well. Iran loses it’s last ear for international sympathy. It’s funny how cocky they are in those small boats. If they turn on the Phalanx system that’ll change quickly, 3000 rounds per minute of 20mm is no joke.
Sooner or later we will be invading Iran. There are just way too many reasons to do it. North Korea just can’t catch a break, they have been begging us for war for years. They just have too many people and not enough resources. They have nukes and the missiles to launch them. Unfortunately they don’t have anything we want. It’s actually silly, how much we ignore them. One of their missiles could land on the White House lawn and a day later they would be painting an Iranian flag on its side.
