I purchased the Yo-Yo Ma CD titled Songs of Joy and Peace. The CD is great...no lie. I went to Yo-Yo Ma's web site and he is having a party featuring all musicians. Yes, all of us. He is interested in anyone submitting their work from all around the world. This is a collaborative project and I think that it would be quite an experience for us all. If any of you are interested and want to take the time to really think and participate, here is the link. If you do not know who Yo Yo Ma is, here is your chance. He is among the most down-to-earth professional musicians out there. The recordings have to be in by Dec. 30th...so there is plenty of time. I say get to crackin'. Voting will begin on the 30th and there will be prizes giving to the top 10 artists ( Yo-Yo's CD ). But, the winner get's to record with Yo-Yo Ma <<<SCREAM>>> What an opportunity, you guys!

I'm actually going to run this by our singer Ryan. He's a freakishly killer Ukulele player. I've heard him play a bunch of traditional Hawaiian songs on it, and it's pretty amazing what you can do with one of those tiny things.

No need to appologize. I just wanted to let everyone know that this contest was going on. I think that it is an incredible opposrtunity. Winning doesn't really matter...Yo-Yo will hear you no matter what. I am in the composers mode as I type this. I hope that recording this is easy.
