Brendan, I'm impressed with these songs. The timing isn't much of an issue for me. I've played for thousands of hours with a drummer and find that I can't play out of rhythm if I want to now. I think it adds a good feel to your songs. They flow like Robert Johnson. No joke.
I think you're ready for the next step on your recordings, which would be to add some simple percussion, like an egg shaker. When panned to one channel with a little reverb, they make acoustic numbers shimmer. Also, try to pan your two guitar tracks slightly to opposite channels (about 9 - 11 and 1 - 3 o'clock if 12 is absolute stereo). Right now those two tracks are clogging up the middle frequencies and it sounds a little confusing as to which is the rhythm and which is the lead. Also helps to add a slight delay or reverb effect on one to make it sound different. Or just eq the rhythm with more bass, the lead with more treble.
Next, you're ready to add some bass, keys or lead. Go for it.
I'm very surprised to hear someone who started playing as an adult playing at this level. Am I remembering that correctly?

I swear I was hearing two guitars. Well done!
In that case, you can take that same guitar track and make it sound different in both channels. Sort make it bounce into one side with some reverb.

The Wah song was the one I noticed having some timing issues, could have just been the wah was out-of-time.
I record to a simple drum beat now, all the time, even if it is a simple acoustic song that won't have drums in the final version. I find something in EZ Drummer that seems to fit the general rhythm, record a scratch track and decide if the tempo needs changing at any parts of the song (for example the chorus needs to speed up a bit). I'll then change the tempo as needed, re-record the scratch track to make sure everything is right. Because I'm always multi-tracking and recording multiple takes, I then put in all my track markers (verse 1, Chorus, Bridge, etc). Then the real fun begins.

Good playing, Brendan!
