I need to look up whether corporate America/World Markets stocks that deal with health care, such as your Humana's and Merck's etc. and whose stock price should be reflecting the success or failure of ObamaCare it..we would have to go back to the day ObamaCare was announced which is several years ago now, and see what these stocks have done price wise since the ObamaCare announcement and then we would not have to call each other names and such, we would know if ObamaCare is a success cause corporate America/World said so, I can't see how it can't be a success since Emergency Room fraud and failure to pay is now non-existant, cause everybody by law, is supposed to have Medical insurance and paying on a still relatively expensive policy.. the corporations are smiling ;>)

Jimmy, you have to consider the fact that on Obama's watch he is propping up the economy by buying up 40 billion in bonds and 45 billion in mortgage securities every month. That's unsustainable bro! And it is a fake economy! Really I hope everything works out for the best but everything I know and believe tells me it cannot. HUM closed trading at $46.36 .. today the stock trades at $93.88.. it has more than doubled in a little over 3 years.. so any fool should be able to see with their own two eyes that corporate America involved with hospital industry loves ObamaCare cause it will be highly profitable for them.. it is not tax dollars that will be funneled into HUM hands it will be thousands and perhaps millions of new customers added to their books.. how is the tax payer going to get hurt? answer: he will not

Dane I am glad you made it back and I hope you are doing well! To answer your question above, the tax payer will be hurt because the government is going to subsidize the payments of people that can't afford the payments. In my opinion that is going to be LOTS of folks because now that they are letting the details out it turns out the Affordable Health Care Act is not very affordable. Two things are going to happen IMO, one taxes are going to be raised on the rest of us and health care cost is going to be higher. Another thing is that some lower middle class families aren't going to be able to afford it so they will now be breaking the law. All of this to pay for health care for folks that for the most part have made bad decisions in their lives and will be rewarded for such. You know that very soon after being implemented the benefits WILL be extended to illegal aliens.
