Liberal Progressives like some on this site LOVE to lead folks to believe I am a racist redneck! Personally I have had the honor of meeting a few of you good folks, and wish I could meet more of you. Having said that I don't give a RATS ASS what most of you think of me. (sorry Jeff)

In another post I poured my soul out about where I come from and something that happened to my daughter. My point was to lay out my family history and frankly, I don't understand how people can say the things they do after that. That has always been my undoing. But as they say it is what it is. Right?

Some folks on this site use it to glorify themselves and they REALLY need to get a life IMO! Jimmy Danger, this is NOT YOUR SITE and in my opinion you are the BIGGEST ASSHOLE, TROLL, BORING, DICK SMOKER! Again Jimmy you little BITCH I feel sorry for your bandmates dealing with a little PRICK like you!

i'm glad to see you used the word "some"....cos' you and i know that however far apart our views are i have NEVER labeled you that way.....even when you had me "blocked" and we were feuding.

as for your daughter....i believe it was talbot who gently called you out for generalizing by sharing his story. i have no doubt that everyone here agrees that it was horrible what happened to your daughter. and most here would like to see the scum responsible for abusing any and all children get their just desserts....and then some.

the difference is that you make the leap and generalization that because the dirtbag was mexican.....you can blame and look down on all mexicans...while others here (including myself)... are more apt to take things on a one by one basis.

i was hurt real bad by an old girlfriend who had blond hair. so, do i therefore have nothing to do w all blonds from that point on????? if so, i would have missed out on marrying a great lady....who ALSO is blond.

the nature of this forum is that it is often a combative one. it's a place where people share and state THEIR opinions. think about it, no one changes anyone else's opinion here. but at the end of the day no one is left bleeding or in a body cast. i've seen you give as good as you get.

for the most part i'd much prefer talking music over politics and religion.....but sometimes that's hard to do when another's views are so completely opposite of what each of us believes to be so....and especially so when they are made in DECLARATIVE STATEMENTS that smugly dismiss others holding different views as being idiots, sheep, cattle, unpatriotic, blind, etc, etc.

anyway....i hope ya stick around but ultimately you should do what's best for you. everything in life is a compromise and when the bad outweighs the good....it's usually time to make changes.

I guess Im not that passionate about other peoples views, I think they should think what they want, and let me think what I want.

I know Jimmy and I have a big difference in the way we look at gun control, but I dont let that get in the way of repecting him as a musician.

Im with the above post I dont generalize toward a whole race of people because of a couple of dumbass's.

I personally made it a habit not to post on here late after maybe I had had a few beers, cause I tend to get a little over the edge, and for the most part these days I just dont engage in the arguments, hell Ive got enought crap going on in real life to not get riled up on here from someones views or post.

Hang in there man, just so you know Im a big fan, when I listen to you covering songs, I get slightly jealous, cause Im just one of those more spontaneaous players who rarely trys to play things note for note anymore. But that doesnt make me like you any less.

I personally don't take anything that happens on the internet too seriously. I have plenty of real life to deal with, so forums are just entertainment and education for me without any real investment. People do what they do and life goes on.

Jeff after I read that thread and you shared your story,I didn't want to respond.I feel a man and his feelings and demons are best left alone.I am saddened by your story I have two daughters,and I'm not offended by any of your statements.That's why we live in this great country.I don't know Jimmy as you do,but he just stated he like the country and didn't say anything about the people.I know you both have some big f**k differences.Well hope I'm not out of line here.No matter what Jeff,your well respected on this site.

After my brother was killed there was a big problem - he had many friends and was well regarded: they were all angry as hell and wanted blood.

So did I. Jim was the best friend I ever had, in addition to being my brother. We'd lived together, shared a lot of experiences.

However, the anger was like a victory for the dark side. It is never healthy. It always impacts the angry people like a pistol that shoots backwards.

I dealt with it in myself - and channeled it into grief. (very rough but there it is). And I spoke to all my family and friends and asked them to let it go - we can't change it. Let the Justice system handle it and drink a Pabst in Jim's honor. (and hundreds did)

Leave it alone. Throw it out of the car like a piece of luggage with coke in it and two police cars following. Why give the enemy a cheap win? Evil exists but we don't have to let it own us.

It is easy to seek revenge and much more difficult to find understanding. And I have found the hardest thing of all is to bequeath forgiveness. It is easily done with someone you Love but not so with others ... especially those you allow yourself to Hate. I always had a problem with fighting the urge for overpowering revenge. Everyone should experience it I believe from both sides otherwise there can be no understanding.

When it comes to the real meaning of our lives man's ridiculous "laws" have no place. I believe there is a place for some things which may be seen by others as revenge but one must always understand the "spirit" in which such is "given".

When I hear certain ones "condemn" violence I often think of the above by Gandhi. Yes it takes great inner strength to forgive but this is often used as a tool of the coward as well. Discernment at times can be difficult even within one's own Self. No one wants to believe themselves cowardly but this inner conflict one needs to know is never the "Realm of the Coward I believe. In understanding this it is perhaps easier to make a choice that fits well with your present state.

I have no problem understanding revenge, upset, anger and such. It is exceedingly painful to the honest man but to the dishonest Coward it comes easily. To fully understand this one must have taken revenge and then regretted it. Once this happens it is far easier to be stronger (not cowardly) and to resist such. But that is only my personal take on it.

Perhaps from his perspective. But from mine I see the world going down the crapper due to its inhabitants becoming more self centered and rotten every day.

I am not against Mexicans coming to America. I am against them sneaking into America, plundering the taxpayers, and crowding in front of law abiding Mexicans who are trying to come here legally.

I don't care if that pusillanimous polecat that some call president is lawless and invites them to steal from taxpayers as he is stealing from them. All that means if that he shares in their crimes against the American citizen. He is only the man who plans the robbery of taxpayers in so many ways.

if the illegal alien bill is passed, it calls for hiring 20,000 more border guards, some sort of detection sensors being instlled, along with countless more miles of fencing being built.. if it is now hard for an illegal alien to come across the border, if the legislation is passed, it will be darn near impossible for a Mexican to "sneak across" when the improvements are made..
