Your youtube videos surely show you have technical ability BUT is it helping you in your band formation? Are you gigging? What about originals, you mention that in your profile. You surely play well, what's next?

I'd like to see you redo that video and actually play the song correctly.

I've been working on "Summer Song" on and off for a little bit, trying to fit bits and pieces into my practice schedule, and what you played wasn't even close.

Cut down the effects, chop your Wah range in half and play it better.

I never learn the songs, I just play over the rhythm!

I dont mean to be critical but why would you post something that you never learned? There are guys on here that could improvise over the top of that and make it come off, but If I was you I would be embarassed to put that up.

Before you put yourself out there do the homework and make it smoke. You never know who might see your video and if your just f**k off you may close some doors that could lead to something better for you. I go on youtube and there are so many folks that post stuff that to me is not that good, if thats the best you got go back and learn the music.

You only get one chance to make a first impression, so in my opinion make it a good one not something half assed. Places like this site are a good place to post stuff before you put it out there for the world to see and most people on here will try to realize what level your playing is at and try to give constructive reviews of your music.

Sean If you care to look I have quite a bit posted here. Most of us are pretty serious about our music. What I told you was from my heart and meant to give you some advice, but you obviously arent maature enough to handle the truth about your abilitys.

Dont worry I wont say anything else to you young man. Ive been in your shoes and when you want to hear some people that have been there and done that give you some advice throw your hat back in the door. If you just want someone to pat you on the back and say how brilliant you are then you are in the wrong place. You are a work in progress and havent developed yet, I know that and respect that and hope that you get better and become whatever it is you want to be. If your goal is to be an asshole then youve already accomplished that in my opinion.
