Hey guys, im gonna start tellin stories about how my band is goin and all the drama and the rest of it that goes along with that, im sure you guys can relate...
Alright, I am 17 yrs old, an aspiring musician, with alot of potential and help from people already somewhat succesful in the music scene willin to help me out because they really see somethin in me. I started playing guitar 2 years ago, Shortly after my lifelong friend Nathen picked up some drum sticks and began learning drum. The two of us made the obvious decision to try and do something we love in life. We are both addicted to jus jammin, rly feelin the music and makin some kick ass noise. So we decided we were goin to start a band. So after a year we became pretty good at our instruments. My guitar teacher complemented me multiple times saying i was a natural, and had never seen any of his students, or anyone for that matter period improve at the rate i did and be playing at such a great level only a year into it. So we moved Nathens kit into my garage and jammed every day we possibly could, we wrote some songs and have a few instrumental tracks recorded thanx to my guitar teacher.
We began to think we can actually make ourselves a livin out of this, and we are absolutely loving it! So in search of some new band mates i was invited to jam with another local band called Shatter, We jammed for a bit and one of the guitarists was somewhat impressed with my skills knowing i was only playing for a year and a half, and he had been playin for 4, and i seemed to be outplayin him. This was where i met Brennan, right now he is my second guitarist. But there is a catch, and that will come later in another story. This is the coming together of the band we are now calling Cold Portrait, once we were Soul Portrait, once 'Life or Truth' now we are two people with a possible third tryin to make it big. This is our story...
