You hear every note, you understand every word, its sometimes funny, akward, serious or stupid. Everyone can relate to at least one country song. Some will unknowingly tap their foot to a Country song. A Love song sung by Vince Gill can affect a woman just as much as one sung by Johnny Mathis or Robert Plant. The point is if it evokes emotion in you it is a successfully writen and performed song. Ultimately the genre is secondary to the ability of a song to evoke emotion.

Because of all the negative remarks found here regarding Country music, because it is just that, music. The fact that people have responded to my posts regarding Country music with some negativity is proof of the emotion, and actually power of music. It just happens there are more rockers and lovers of other music here. Imagine a wall with 10 mirrors hung on it. If you keep going to each one and look at yourself eventually you will find a favorite mirror. Its all MUSIC.

I just have one thing to add.

You have to listen to your heart.

If you like what you do, doesnt matter if it is country, rock or polka.

Some ppl will love and some will hate, it is a fact.

Just believe in yourself and be happy :)

Dont be upset for the negativity.

Most of the ppl who showed negativity got a preety bad work on music.

But I believe some of them will love their crappy music.

THis is art.

Some hate picasso, some think he is a genius. I like his work.

Speaking for myself, I think that the Monalisa is horrible but experts seems to agree that is the most important painting in the history of art.

Go figure...

:)

Merry xmas and happy new year :)

This would have been truly great if it could have been released in 1965. Now it's kinda dated, in spite of the quality of the music. It's a damned shame, too, but that's the way of things.

You might find a lil niche like Chris Isaac did for a time.

Your productions are good, but the material is way too specialized to "make it."

If you applied your obvious abilities to a more modern song, you would be a force to reckon with. As it is, your music is a curiousity to most, I'd wager. It's good, but it isn't what ppl look for today.

I would like to hear something with a whole buncha energy from you, cuz your voice & taste are really quite good.

I like chocolate ice cream. I don't like vanilla ice cream.
It's a preference. Not negativity.
Kinda like saying you get too many bad vibes. LOL
Come on man. Your a good player. You keep searching and you'll find an appropriate outlet.

Think I get down over "bad vibes" cause my music has a Christian message that a lot of folk just don't want to hear? LOL
Fat freakin chance my man.

Go for it !!
