I'm digging it except the drums. Nice vox as usual and nice leads as usual. The drums on all your recent stuff are just too keyboardy. The beats on this and train remind me of Prodigy - Breathe

All techno and not congruent with the rest of your parts and sounds. Maybe your mixes are a bit high endy to me too. Performance is great. Fun scatting with the leads too! I do think the Hootie/Joel comparison is accurate. It's a noticeable likeness. Definitely not a ripoff though.
I'd like the key change, but it's not a deal breaker. The fade is cool with me too.
