Thanks Bob, Ive actually never thought I had much precision in my playing, its kinda from the hip. Funny those last demos I posted I had forgotten I had even recorded them. I was recording some acoustic stuff and Andy said you want copys of the last stuff you did here and i said sure. Kinda of caught me off guard, anyway I will let folks know when I get some completed songs done. Guns will be awesome and Ho is the party song of the year in my book.

You guys have a Great Weekend

OK, I listened to "Gun", (yes, I remembered to grab the headphones) sounds really good. Killer tune, you need lyrics for that one. Cool ending, feedback and echoes, general rock n roll noise, that's what makes rock great. In the words of the immortal David Gilmour, where would rock and roll be without feedback?

Don't have time for more right now, things to do that must take precedence. Keep it up, sounding real good at least on that one.

And yeah, I want to hear the acoustic stuff too, so I'm with Philby, GIMME!

Thanks Bill I appreciate your opinion on this. I go in to record lyrics for Guns and Ho tonight. Guns has turned into one of the heaviest things Ive ever done. I am going to wait on our drummer to putlive drums on it before I repost it.

Im supposed to pickup the acoustic stuff. Im mainly just strumming thru chords, no real intricate picking like you showed me at the house that time. Theres a lot of warts in those songs cause I jsut decided to demo them in a live setting. I would just play them for a minute or two then say hit record and I left a lot of stuff cause with all the mics there was no way to overdub anything just let it lay. Its more aobut the lyrics and tunes, so hopefully I will have some up in a couple of days. I want you to listen to the CORT guitar and give me a heads up on the tone. We double miced it and ran direct off of it. The other night it was the best thing about those songs, just the acoustic guitar tone.

I don't expect any "intricate picking", I just want to hear the new Cort. I know you're not into the kind of acoustic picking I do anyway, even though you are a killer lead player and I think with a little work you could do some really tasty acoustic picking too. So don't sell yourself short, I'd be willing to bet you could match me without a whole lot of effort. since you don't have a bad tendon, you could probably do even better...

But I just want to hear the new guitar :D

I think you will like the sound I got unless Andy has done something to alter it but I doubt it. He knows what Im looking for in sounds.

When I practice acoustic I do work on some more intricate stuff, Im just not ready to display that yet. These songs are basically strummers, but I am working on what I call a SPanish Guitar piece that you may like more. I tryed to record it but it just didint feel right so I put it off for awhile. If something isnt feeling right when Im recording I just walk away from it and put it on the backburner.

I am enjoying that new guitar, I think I told you I was set on buying a Martin that suited me until I played it. Save me a ton of money right there over the Martin.
