I would like to hear what other musicians think of my vocal abilities. Please take a moment to listen to my version of Superman by Five for fighting and Depeche Mode cover on my profile page...give me a review here and tell me what you think.

Thanks in advance! Rish

I'm listening to it now...

"Superman" seems to be out of your usual range, at 1st listen. You are struggling with this, or you're having some control issues. I wish you'd open up a little bit on this & give it some oomph. You're tentative, & it is showing.

"Doesn't Matter" shows me you have a rather unique sound in your voice, & this seems to fit your comfort area a lil better. Perhaps my 1st impression isn't correct...You do seem to slide in & out of the notes a lot, which makes me think of control problems, but now it's starting to sound like it's just your own style. It ain't good or bad. It's just not what I'm used to or prefer, personally.

Yeah, I relistened to "Superman," & you sound scared of this song.

Is "Falling Start" your own composition? Man, that's got some skeery lil undercurrent to it, but I was hoping it would go somewhere. You have some good taste in sounds. I like this, even if it seems a touch limited. It'd do well as a movie soundtrack, in my mind.

If you did the instrumentation & recording on all of these, kudos!

Nice stuff!

Thanks Philbymon...When I recorded the vocals for both of these tracks I did it vary quiclky and didnt spend much time, and yes Superman was something differnt for me. All of the instrumentation is mine, Falling start is just me messing around with synths.

Radio.
This to me is like splitting the atom!
So good to hear new vibrant stuff coming through. Dark and sombre maybe but it reflects the times very well. (Falling Start)

No problem with your voice at all so far as I am concerned. You are not the original artist in any case but you do well for me at least.

It ain't easy being me either Lol! :D

In short I really do like your voice, your keys are very good but please look at your first musical posting which is totally different, "Falling" too.

Chipfryer.

Thanks Chippy...Oh that is good to hear! I added Falling start to my demo section because it just sort of reflects me messing around with sounds and a style I enjoy. I am planning on shortening this track and adding timpanis and cymbal rides for a huge build. I think I would use it to open a show, one of thoes tracks you let the sequencer play as everyone is walking out on stage.

I ain't simon you know. :D

Truly though you had something going there and your other stuff will make sure all things compliment essences. Sometimes messing around with stuff, making things messy, getting things completely wrong can open doors either in mind or in music and they are both related.

Can I ask what you use to record on please?

Ya...I use a custom built PC running Adobe Audition, I record, mix, edit and master all in Adobe Audition 3.0. I use all hardware synths and samplers...no VST stuff or loops.
