I actually got a chance to record today. I used my looper to record this. Not as a loop but in traditional format. Piano, bass, drums, 2 guitars, snare and cymbal, 4 vocals, and 2 whistling parts recorded in that order. The looper records in mono in a wav format. So I recorded the piano bass and drums then copied them to another channel on my looper. Then I overdubbed the left channel and right channel parts on the corresponding looper tracks. It's sort of like ping ponging on a 4 track. Then I uploaded to the computer, combined the 2 channels in audacity, eq'd a tiny bit, and exported as an mp3. Confusing I know but it makes sense to me. It's the first song on my profile - "tonight you belong to me" It was written in 1926 by lyricist Billy Rose and music writer Lee David. Most folks here would remember it as the ukulele song from "the jerk".
