Hey Bob, yea... Sorry for just throwin' that line out there... I guess I just take for granted everyone catches the drift... Popping a bass string is definitely a rare thing... I just say "go break a string" to guit players as just my lame attempt at a humorous salutation... It's a spin on the buzz phrase actors use to each other before performing; "go break a leg"... Well, for guit players, strings seem more fitting than legs... At least in my little pea brain... lol... Sorry to hear about your friend busting one of his, but it's great he was good enough to play through it and finish the show... Best o' luck to you... Doug
