I joined this site soon to be a year and I'm reflecting on what I've learned here in the last year, But life aint that easy sometimes. This has been a very trying year for most of you as well as myself. But in the last month I've come to realize I might not be able to get all that I want , but if I take advantage of whats around me I have everything I need. I've been hoping to make a 6 or 8 CD of a lot of my favorite original tunes and had been searching for few people that might like what I'm doing, but its been a rough row to hoe as many know. So I figured I better get a start without the help I was looking for thanks to seeing how well Paul and Craig have done with their projects. A friend of mine for over 40 years, I actually taught him his first song on guitar, has started coming back around after along absence. We've started getting the vocal and guitars down to a new beginning and it seems as though we never quit. So I thought maybe I could easily wrangle a couple others in and started looking for a drummer and bass player. I have 2 wonderfull daughters who are in relationships with some really good guys . 1 plays wicked bass and the other is the best drummer I've ever played with , but being a dad to them I never figured they might want to help with my project . Hell fire both said they would like nothing more than to play with my project and help promote it. Man I feel like A kid again ! The drummer just finished a CD with " Prom King Cobras" and they posted it to their my space site last week so check them out . Sorry I dont know how to post a link. And The bass players getting his engineering degree and just finished a CD with another band that broke apart before the release party. I'm planning to get this thing done as quick as I can but its been a long time in the making so I can't get in too big a hurry. Its funny how things happen sometimes and I thought I should share this with all the people thats kept me hoping and informed on a lot of things this last year. So now I guess I'll renew my membership to band mix and keep on keeping on.
