General Music Chat

We dont blame anyone for needing to cancell a show grooves , especially someone letting me know before I made a 3 hr drive for nothing. But all said Im planning a long trip up the Eastern seaboard and hope I can meet a few guys from the forum. Life is good , Ive been invited to play bass with a local group, and the guys Ive been playing with for years put me back on guitar after finding a decent bass player. My daughter is 3 months pregnant, and my bills are paid. What else could a man want besides BOOBS ! Oh yea, Got them too.

I guess what goes around comes around.

We had a show booked for this friday night. We promote shows on myspace. The manager calls me last night and says I dont have you guys down for friday, we have another band booked. He saw our myspace bulletins. Anyway he rescheduled us for another date. i dont know what happened on this one, whenever I book something I put it in my cell phone and then transfer it to our myspace calendar the first time Im back on the computor. Im glad the manager saw our posting, cause otherwise we would have been up there friday setting up before we found out. My guys would have been pissed at me cause this is a 2 hr drive for one of our members.

I guess you posted some bad karma for me on here.

I'm glad there are no ill feelings all around. I'd like to get together when you make your trip. Let me know when you plan on coming to NC and we'll see if we can work something out.

Sorry about the karma JW... Seriously, I'm glad that you found out with a little bit of notice, like you wrote. It sucks to get to the venue, set up, and then find out that you're not playing. I've done that before too.
