Thanks to all for the well-wishes.
We left Wed nite, after Ian got off work, & arrived after 11. Had to be at the hospital at 6 AM, & wait until 6 PM. The op supposedly went well, & he was released Fri afternoon.
Took him to a zoo that day, & right after that he started with the projectile vomitting, so we had to return to the hospital at 6 PM. At 2 AM, he got a room & seemed fine & was re-released today. Just got home, & I'm whipped.
He hasn't cussed me out, yet, dammit.
He really liked the zoo, though, at least until we saw the big elephant, & he got scared of that & the tigers. You shoulda seen him feeding the rheas & petting the llamas & camels & ponies & stuff! He had a really good time until he got sick. This time he seems quite fine.
Interesting note - the doc that did the op is the son of the guy who worked on Christopher Reeves.
Boy, it's good to be home...
