the move is about a junkie...who suddenly has custody of his daughter...

I wrote this song specifically for this movie because they want something that melodically will play through the movie. I thought, "I can do this"...Remember the move Juno? That song...a guy playing the guitar...that song became a huge hit...anyways...This is what I wrote...I uploaded it to my player...it's the first one on my list: "I See Me" Here are the lyrics:

Ok, either the song really sucks and you all are too kind to critique it or it's just boring and...not worth a damn. 19 views...not looking good for the home team here....

That's ok...I like it...I think it will fit into the movie...has a catchy chorus....yeah, the recording sucks...but, I don't care...they judge on lyrics, how well it fits into the movie, and if chosen I'll record it on studio equipment.

I wrote another one for the movie...but kind of afraid to share it...so I think I'll wait on that.

Debbie - judging from your vocals, you don't sound like you're from Michigan. Are you a transplant? You have a southern accent, at least it sounds like it to me.

I am from the south, but now a legal resident of Michigan.

thank you for your advice...unfortunately..it's just me and my guitar. I'm wishing I had a 12 string...that would improve the guitar sound...

Hoping the judging goes by how well the song fits the movie...lyrics and how it applies to the situation. I've written a second one...but all the normal people are sleeping right now and I can record it properly...I MIGHT get opinions on it tomorrow.
