Okay, WHY NOT?

I thought I had made a lot of very good points to bandmix in several posts about how they can improve their level of service, and make that $10 a month seem like a steal. As I see it, I don't look at it as $10/month. I look at it as $120/year. For my $120, what am I getting??

-1 in 30 odds because of lackluster policies on vetting serious vs. wayward musicians.

..sigh... I was going to list all the things they could improve, but instead of wasting my time, check out a post either in this forum, or the USA forum called something like "wake up bandmix" and check out my lengthy posts on how they can improve their service and ENSURE market domination.

As it stands, I've only gotten the "form-letter" response to the effect of "we're working on various overhalls... blah blah blah"..

Well my response back is that competitor sites are popping up nearly every day and while bandmix sits on it's ass thinking it has 5 years to program the changes, someone else is going to steal market domination from them and I bet all the tea in China that the owners will then all sit down at a meeting and ask "WTF happened to us?" and not one of them will have the balls to say "well... kramerguy warned us this would happen"

Ok, so I got an ego... but it's basic business sense. They are using this site as a temporary cash cow and seemingly don't care, and even assume that it will someday fail.

Grr.

That's all well and fine but I sent contacts through Bandmix mail to them and out of nearly 30 e-mails sent one week ago, I received only one response.

When you send an e-mail from Bandmix does the person actually get it in their personal e-mail box, or at least a notification of it? If it just goes into their mail page of their account then they will only get it when they log in to Bandmix, which is not very efficient.

Comments?

I have always been contacted by my personal e-mail when some one writes back. It is mainly the person I contact who does not respond. I even ask for an answer one way or the other so I won't waste their time or mine by trying again. If their account is closed or delinquent it is up to Bandmix to let us know our mail is not going through.
