I couldn't decide whether to vote for the diaper sandwich or the moldy fish wrapped in old newspaper. Sorry to drive the point into the ground, but the idea of democracy is to elect the individual who seems to have your best interest at heart-not just pick the lesser of two evils. I personally can't get past the fact that politicians are all (imo) actors in one giant commercial trying to sell us something-themselves.
I haven't seen a politician yet who was willing to get his or hands dirty, unless it was for some priceless photo op. I'll vote when I get a written guarantee from a politician that: If we go to war, he/ she and or members of their family will be on the frontline, gun in hand and boots to the sand. They will also have to commit to putting Americans first-something most of these folks do ONLY if it benefits their own pockets (or the pockets of their big business allies-which, of course, benefits their own wallets as well...)
