Hi Everyone!

I am new here to bandmix
I live in NE TX
I play drums, some latin percussion, and recently found a God given gift of singing

I would like to form a Christian Rock/ Praise & Worship band along the lines of Jeremy Camp, Third Day, Kutless, Todd Agnew, Casting Crowns, I guess it would be kind of a classic rock sound that I would be looking for ya know hard enough to draw the younger folks in but still have a sound that everyone would feel comfortable praise'n the Lord to

If you live around the Texarkana/New Boston area and would like to use your God given talents to Glorify Him gimme a shout
at twhalen@allegiance.tv

I Have nice PA some recording software

Looking for a:
bass player
rthm guitar
keyboard
and front person

age isn't that important as long as you know your instrument and you can practice 1 during the week and on Saturday

Thanks for reading
God Bless

I wish you were close to Savannah GA man that's what I've been wanting to do FOREVER. But keep on Rockn for JESUS no greater feeling I love 3rd Day, and Casting Crown's saw them with Steven Curtis Chapman best concert I've ever seen sence Pink Floyd Steven Curtis gave them a run for the money He's Superstar for JESUS. Hope you can find some folks though and welcome to Bandmix

It's hard to get a good band together and even harder to get a Spirit filled one. Here's a thought God has put on me that He may have for you. You never know... Healing songs as praise songs... I believe in Heaven there are billions of voices singing different praises at the same time that unify and glorify... On Earth and in this earth God has put on me to call for healing in praise-type of songs... Stop diseases in their tracks and keep those well, well... That's what I am trying to mix now. I am a cancer survivor and my doc tells me what I've been through is a miricle. And it all has to be done in Jesus name and I can tell you know that. God bless. I'm in SE La. Katrina drove me towards your neck of the woods last fall and there's some really good people there. God bless until your cup overflows and feeds the weak and dying. In Jesus name.

I really wish you the best of luck man. I live in Savannah, Ga and am in the middle of forming a band that may be one of the hardest to find. A hardcore metal Christian band. So far, I have been blessed enough to find a killer singer who loves Christ, but no luck in the other areas. I really hope you get this going brother, because I can really understand how hard it is to find good people of like-mind. God bless , bro and remember...God works ALL things to the greater of those who worship HIM.

Could do what I did. I'm in a large church and we started small groups and I started one for song writers. We also do a opem mic night once a month at a local coffee shop. I;d like to end up with someone else doing my songs some time. But for the time being I'll do them twice a week at two county jails and once a month at a homeless shelter. Those of us with common interests always seem to live somewhere else.
