Has anyone out there ever seen a hurdy gurdy being played? I luv the song but for 43 yrs never knew the damn thing was an actual instrument! trip out

I've never seen one played, but knew it was an instrument years ago.

Here's a couple of youtube links, I didn't watch them since it takes at least a half hour for most of them to load on dial up. Might do that first time I get a chance to get online at a friend's place, I'd like to see what it sounds like.
